ALONE AND FAR AWAY.

The sand crunched underneath sharp, purple talons and soft, yellow paws. Night Visions and Smoke and Mirrors had been the last of the two to complete their trials. They were both thinking about how lucky Mercury was to have not been put through such a thing, though they didn't know he had been outside fighting to defend his friends.

"Jeez," Smoke and Mirrors hissed. "I had to find, like, eight different things. And three of them were on paper! It was alright the first time, but you know how hard it is to do that while blindfolded and not being able to use your wings?! AND they had been moved to completely different spots!"  He gave an exasperated sigh, shaking some sand out of his wings.

"That sounds... scary, in all honesty," Night Visions replied. "I had to do some sort of card matching game thing. Which obviously isn't a problem when I can see, but blindfolded? That's a whole 'nother story! I was lucky the cards had defining features on them, otherwise I dunno what would've happened to me. I'm just glad we're out of there.

Smoke and Mirrors nodded in agreement, walking alongside Night Visions. It seemed like this room was going on forever. A vast expanse of walls and sand was ahead of them, but they knew this was the exit. They kept walking until eventually Smoke and Mirrors felt something under his paws. He wiped the sand away with his tail while Night Visions watched. Once the sand was gone, they both gasped at what lie in front of them; another dragon.

The dragon's orange fur glistened in the light above and in front of them. Whoever this was, their fur was the same orange as the sky during a sunset, or a sunrise. Their hair was a darker orange, and appeared to be dyed a deep blue at the tips. Their wings were similar to those of Origins's or Smoke and Mirrors's.

Night Visions stood still before finally leaning down and nudging the dragon with her nose. "Are they... are they dead?" she asked.

Smoke and Mirrors bent down beside them, checking for a pulse, or any sign of life. "It seems like they're breathing... but shallowly."

The dragon seemed to be in terrible condition. They were in need of help, but clearly nobody had or was going to come help them. The two decided the best they could do was help them themselves. Night Visions nudged them back up so they were as close to standing as they could. She then placed the almost lifeless dragon on Smoke and Mirrors's back, and the two continued heading towards the exit. They had been slowed down, since Smoke and Mirrors was carrying a dragon who was pretty much the same size as him, but it didn't bother them too much.

By the time they had gotten outside, Origins and Evolve had been waiting by the door for them.
