Safety Comes First

Kessho shuffled his wings as he looked around. He'd been at the dock before the sun had risen to check out the rumors of Tram Havoc trying to stop the newest ferry coming in. Despite how long he'd been here though he'd found nothing. Some of the other knights that were stationed here had declared the rumors to be unsubstantiated. He wasn't ready to dismiss them just yet though.

With a deep breath he decided to take another sweep of the area. Maybe he'd find something new now that day had broke. At first his sweep yielded nothing, except some of the other knights giving him odd looks. Finally he found something though. A footprint. Easily missed. Thing was it didn't belong to any of the pokemon working there, or any of the knights stationed here. That was one of the first things he'd made sure to find out. Just who was supposed to be here.

The footprint was hard to identify at first, but finally he managed to place it. A durant. It was easy to see how this was missed. Especially when there hadn't been a lot of light. 

Well. Now he had a direction of some sort. Plus a confirmation that something was going on. Not that it was much to go on, but he'd take what he could get at this point. 

Fighting off a yawn he took a quick sniff of the air. Much to his delight he could pick out quite the stand out scent. Moss. Something that was certainly out of place here. He grinned to himself if he was lucky he might be able to track that smell. At the very least it should help.

He turned to lol at the area past the footprint. He needed to act fast. There was a lot of ground to cover and not a lot of help. With how a lot of the other knights had given up he honestly didn't expect this tiny amount of evidence to sway them, so he was on his own. All he had to do was find them before it was too late.
