When I came back, it was dark.
Oh right… My eyes...
“Kinoko?” I called out for my boss. She had to be somewhere near. She had been nearby when… When...
“Dei…?”
Her voice…
“Kinoko!” I pushed myself to my knees and began making my way towards where she was.
“Noko, you need to stay with me.” A pained gasp escaped from her as I gently pulled her to my arms and I could feel a trembling hand feeling my shoulder and then land on my cheek.
“I love you, Dei.”
“Wha-... What’re you... you-?!"
“Well, aren’t you two just adorable.”
