"Mmmm tired..." Soku practically collapsed on top of Kage.

"If you want to cuddle get off of me." Kage growled, but there wasn't any real anger behind it.

"Don't wanna though. You're comfy." Soku buried his nose into Kage's neck. With a sigh his partner flipped Soku off him and slotted himself next to Soku. His claws started to comb through Soku's fur. He couldn't help but purr at the attention. "Nevermind, this is much better."

"Always have to make things difficult don't you?" Kage sounded amused.

"More fun that way." Soku nuzzled his partner. "Plus I'm your problem to deal with now. Should have read the fine print when we got together."

"Unfortunately I was a fool and failed to do so." Kage hummed. "A shame. I suppose I'm stuck with you now."

"Yep." Soku chuckled. "No getting rid of me now."

The two fell into a comfortable silence and Soku couldn't help but yawn. "Get some sleep." Kage pulled Soku closer to him. "We both need the rest."

"The kids are asleep right?" Soku asked sleepily.

"Yes. Kit and Kyu kindly got them down for us." Kage assures him. "Now sleep love." Well that was all Soku needed to relax, close to his partner and love of his life.
