Secret Grove

“I swear Sopluha, I will not share the location swear it on my life.” Lei calmly states giving a thumbs up to her companion. Holding onto her plate of vanilla cake goodness, as she follows her fellow friend out of the event area. Going through different tables and avoiding any contact with others who notice them. Today was a day of festivities, and usually that meant everyone would be loud and exciting right? Well, Lei wasn’t one to enjoy those activities. Considering how long it would mean to clean messes, or how socially draining it was. She was glad to take up the offer that Sopluha offered to her one evening.

“You know how draining social gatherings are? Well, I found this hidden grotto that had the best sights for fireworks! It’s also pretty quiet.” - Sopluha

“Eh? How sure are you?” - Lei

“No one will notice, but you will need to follow me when the next event happens. Be sure to get a treat too since you’ll be missing out on the show.” - Sopluha

Uncomfortably Lei sits on her tail curled under a table with Sopluha, as their tails barely make them have enough room to hide. Including the only thing hiding them is a white sheet over the table. Music blaring as flashing lights could barely have her pay attention to what Sopluha was saying. “Now on three, we split in different directions and meet at that bush. This is the last table we should quickly cut through the forest.” Sopula whispers over to her, as she uses her empty hand to motion the numbers. When three struck they both snuck away from different directions, as they both aimed at the woods scrambling as fast as they could. Meeting at the bushes to where Sopluha had mentioned, as she was a bit out of breath. “H-hang let me rest for a bit that took the wind out of me. I’ll guide you to the grove.” Lei nods as she looks back at the party from afar feeling that this will be awhile.

The hike was a path that Lei was unfamiliar with, as she took a deep breath in as she continued forwards through the trees. Sopluha calls out as Lei quickly ducks underneath a tree branch as she hears a small bang. She notices the sky flashes a bright blue star appearing in the sky. The fireworks were likely happening right now, as she scans the view of the grove. It was clear and very spacious that it made her think of it as a new possible place to visit. “Come sit in the middle with me!” Sopluha yells as she pats the grass next to her. Another soft bang goes off from the distance, as Lei smiles sitting down next to Solpuha. Watching the bright lights of fireworks go off, as she enjoyed her cake.
