The "solution" to Jeff's recent bitey tentacle problem isn't pleasant. (HSFW5)

"Come on, guys. When are you going to let me out of this thing?" Jeff had been patient for a couple days, and at first he was just happy they didn't kill him. Most people that get infected with the space-vampire virus forget that they were human and start attacking people. Jeff was one of the lucky ones. After a few days, he figured that they would've realized that and start trusting him.

"You can get out when you learn how to control those... things." Answered one of the guards. They had noticed that the mouthed, tendril-like appendages growing from his back were kind of nippy.

"They have a mind of their own, I can't." Jeff whined.

"Well, what do you plan on doing to keep them from causing trouble?" the guard said back. Jeff thought about it for a little bit, and, well, he didn't have all that much feeling in them.

"Maybe they can be ... removed?" he said nervously. The guard he had been talking to left to discuss the matter with one of the higher-ups.

When he came back, he said, "Okay, let's do it." They lead him down a few hallways into what appeared to be a hospital room. He was trying his best to hold onto the "things", but they were really squirmy. He was getting a bit scared of what he just suggested. Even if he couldn't feel it very much, the thought of detaching a part of his body was pretty unsettling. What if more started growing back from the stumps like a hydra? What if he bled out? He was having second thoughts, but it was already too late to turn back. He nearly fainted when they showed him what they were going to cut them off with.

The saw looked kind of rusty... and they didn't have sedatives. He thought, "Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to have these little uncontrollable lamprey-like appendages that bite at anything close to them and just live in a cage forever."
