Legend of Lightians
The Basic creation myth of the Lightians, though it varies sometimes depending on the universe.
As darkness spread and corrupted the land, the gods made a new defense against the Shadows. The sun, and the Lightians. Together the new found of guardians spread purity and light to the land prayed on by creatures of Darkness. With new light, the shadows were driven back and became evenly matched against the light. Humans had a new beacon of hope as the sun would rise for them every day and cast back the shadows once more. The Lightians were beings love and peace, so they had no defense against the sour winds that began to blow their way. Disgusted by the light the ancient goddess of hate and sin broke past the barrier of light protecting the sun and sent down forth an attack that would wipe out all those who opposed her. But one child, a princess, managed to escape. And she fell from the sun, from the stars, from the skies, and landed on the mortal plains, the world we know before us. Her escape and light is why the world has not succumbed yet to the darkness once more, and why the sun still shines brightly for all of us each and every day.
