I Hate Him.
When you love someone who doesn't love you back, what are you supposed to do?
Saya has fallen in love with female friend Rin. But Rin is in love with someone else.
One day Rin came running to her, sobbing and trembling, Saya instantly regretted falling for Rin. Dramatic hair changes are a way of shedding the past and moving on, they say....
Her wimpering was the only sound that filled Saya's bedroom.
And her Tears where the only shimmer that Saya kept her eyes on.
Rin was beautiful.
When she was laughing or brushing off jokes with such simple expression. When Rin was deep in thoughts and when Rin was excited about something.
Yes, Even when she was crying..... Saya loved her even when she was crying. But this was not the situation to think that someone 'was beautiful'.
Bashful about her own thoughts wandering off so far from reality, Saya gently stroke Rin's bangs to the sides."What happened?" were the first words that finally filled the bedroom.
Sayaka never expected Rin to be storming into her bedroom just like that, hugging Saya with such awful expression that it made her stumble over onto the floor.
Saya felt at fault, for something she wasn't aware of. She didn't know what happened, or why Rin was hurt. But she was in pain. Deeply.
A few minutes of silent weeping continued from Rin's side, until she finally lifted her head to look at Saya. She opened her mouth, as if to give an explanation on what had happened, but only tears came rolling up once again. A loud "I hate him" filled the room, and it kept Saya in unpleasant surprise. She knew exactly who Rin meant, but she didn't dare to question any further. Too painful it would be on herself to hear Rin say something about him, when she clearly knew that Rin loved him. Just the same as Saya loved her. Deeply.
"I've always been there for him, but he....he.." Wiping across her face with her shaking arm Rin sniffed. "I HATE him! Falling in love with someone of the same gender, that's disgusting". Rin was visibly in pain, as these words barely left her mouth...but splurting out these words, without giving any considerations to her surrounding, how unfair.
Saya felt her own heart being stabbed from every side. Her eyes were widened in shock at these words stabbed her.
Saya knew, Rin came running to her so she would condolence Rin, but she didn't manage to bring any supportives words out of her mouth.
Trembling while strongly holding back her own tears Saya pat Rin's head, as the blonde girl started sobbing and weeping all over again.
"Do you think short hair will suit me?" Saya asked, jokingly.
