Jaguerdile is a rare species of a mammalian-reptile hybrid, residing in the deep jungles of South America. This creature is long, sleek, and notorious for it's unparalleled senses and infamous for being a supreme camouflager. Coming in a variety of colours, the body shape of this creature does not come in variations of such, however, the males are known to be quite larger.

Described as being scaly yet flexible, the body type of the Jaguerdile begins with a thick, scaly, crocodilian-like tail, with subtle bone spikes lining the upper crest which carry up onto the back, and neck. The legs are sturdy, and structurally sound, with long and endearing toes accompanied by sharp talon-like claws at the tips. The hind legs are most powerful, giving the creature the ability to propel itself forward in the case of a quick escape. With powerful hind legs with such hooked claws, it is obvious that this hybrid creature would be an impeccable climber. However, the Jaguerdile will solemnly find itself up in trees, since it has taken so well to water and marshes. Moving up the body's anatomy, the upper body of the Jaguerdile is such as a big cat's, with strong shoulders, a straight neck, and arching throat where a wolf-like muzzle erupts from, and slicked back, pointy ears nearly always seen flat against it's scaly skull. The eyes are an almond shape, generally with small slits, and an extra transparent eyelid to aid in the case of seeing underwater. Nearly always a yellow hue, some Jaguerdile's have been seen with deep amber hued eyes. The long muzzle of the creature is lined with hazardous fangs, it's long lips curling up towards it's cheek in a grimly fashion, resembling that of a shark's. Generally skinny, this scaly hybrid is most commonly found with smoky-black scales, sometimes speckled with the occasional red or orange scale, with a softer underbelly and "paw"-pads. Having a body low to the ground with a naturally flexible bodice and strong limbs ensures a sneaky, well-rounded creature, able to camouflage and sneak past it's competitors, whether that be up in the trees, or down underwater.

Some say you can hear the Jaguerdiles call to each other at night, it's call sounding like that of a low growl or purr-like noise, which can carry far distances. Mates are often hard to find, as this creature is solitary, and does not run or thrive in groups. Most active at nighttime, the Jaguerdile mainly feeds on rich vegetation, and the occasional rodent or bird. Despite the appearance of this creature looking quite intimidating and frankly, dangerous, it is not an avid hunter, and is considered an omnivore. Evolution has enabled this hybrid to stand out amongst the predators of the jungle, being capable of thriving alongside larger meat eaters, and not looking like an appealing or easy hunt.
