Dark Words On Dark Winds

Deep in a dark forest blanketed by snow lies an entrance to a network of caves. In this section of the caves lived a group known as the Dark Souls Guild which was founded by the powerful mage, Rosegold Darkly. The guild’s home is tucked away and well hidden in the folds of the stone and earth which makes up the catacombs.

Only the very brave or extremely foolish venture out to find them. You look to be one of those it seems. The guild has a morbid reputation due to the founder’s dark past but any of the guild members will disagree. Once inside the chilling looking structure the guild calls home, you are greeted with a surprise. The caves past the entrance have been made so homely and the cheerful members of the guild’s voices fill the caves with joyful laughter. A roaring orange fire stands in the middle of the main hall, providing light and warmth to the guild members.

From the main hall you see many passages leading away further into the caves. These passages are lit with beautiful blue balls of fire which line the top of each of the passages. There also seems to be a big staircase leading to the second floor of the main hall. You venture down one of the passages and are greeted by a series of rooms. Down the bigger of the passages you can find a medical bay, library, blacksmith, training grounds complete with training dummies as well as a storage area. Down the smaller passages is where the guild members each have their own room, personalized by them suit each of their needs and wants.

You make your way back to the main hall where you see the founder himself has made an appearance. Sitting next to the fire he sips from his cup and listens to his guild members with a smile on his face. The first time anyone outside the guild has seen the grumpy founder smile. You stare in shock then you notice Rosegold looking over to you. He motions for you to join him next to the warmth of the fire giving you a crooked smile.
