As the sky turned golden orange, clouds drifted by like giant balls of pink cotton candy. The waves rolled back and forth endlessly over a pearly beach, being disrupted by only the occasional seagull strutting through the water. On this pristine paradise, tucked between the heavens and their reflection, no one would doubt the bountiful beauty. However Diana was absolutely having none of it.

She stomped back and forth, nearly as endless as the waves, while whistling through gritted teeth. Only looking up now and then to check the old beaten path. “What is this, your 10th boat this year?” Diana snarkily replied.

“No it’s... Wait where be the other one?”

“Oh that’s right it’s your 12th! Gosh how could I forget the time you tried to ram into my pier, twice.”

“ No, no seriously I’ve never seen ya here without the other one.”

“Go stuff a clam King!”

Before King could ask anything else, Diana galloped deeper inland, where she knew King couldn’t follow by ship. Especially because she wasn’t even sure he knew how to land the thing.
