This is filled with terrible mixture of past and present tense and awful grammar, i'm sorry, i don't know how to write but i wanted to get this story out of my head and down so i don't forget it. This is awful, don't judge my writing.

Some many years ago...

I awoke to a long, staticky droning noise and nothing but darkness, I suppose it had been a long time since my systems had been functional after all. My visual sensors where the first to really begin coming to life, I managed to raise my hand to block the sun, the bright light filling my vision and leaving an awful static-like pattern as my sensors struggled to life. Next to come was sounds, muffled and crackly, it was almost like someone was talking, the mixture of distorted sound and broken visuals was becoming too much, I was beginning to become frustrated and sat upright quickly. Dink. I had hit my head on something, something hard and metal, it was small and floated away quickly. "Hüter!", a small, muted voice broke through the static and droning. (Update: 22Oct2019) "Englisch...bitte..." I struggled to mutter, not fully sure if I was imagining the voice or if it really was someone else. I tried to get a look but the sun once again filled my senses, "fuckin' sun" I mumbled to myself, waving my hand in front of it, as if that were to help remove it from my vision.

"Sun?" the voice chimed, "Guardian, are you able to see? Can you even hear me?"

"Yes, I can hear you, can't see though, my sensors are..." I trailed off, unable to find the words.

"Hold on", it chirps once again. I was suddenly overwhelmed with a weird sensation, it was warm, and it trickled from my core to my limbs. "How about now?"

My vision begins to clear, and I start to make out the shape which the voice in coming from. I don't understand what it is, or really if the voice actually came from it. "Uh" I looks for the words to say but can't. I look around to see if there was anything else that could it talking, I'm in a forest, the sky is dark, "It's night..." I mutter to myself, I suppose it wasn't the sun but actually the light coming from the thing in front of me.

(Update: 23Oct2019) "It is" the thing in front of me flickers as it speaks, "How are you feeling? Can you see fine now?" I nod in response, wary of this little floating light. I gather myself and lean against the tree behind me to steady myself, dizzy and overwhelmed.

"What are you?" I question it, "Where am I? What's..." I stop my questioning to think,
