This is my character Aysu meaning ‘moon water’, she is a Moonskulker dragon. Moonskulkers are a species of dragon I created and are not an open nor closed species, you can message me if your curious about it. The name Moonskulker is given to these dragons because of the fact you can only witness them during the night time and more prominently during full moons, as well as being very sly, cunning, and sneaky. They are an aquatic species, though they have wings, they can swim, hold their breath underwater for a significant amount of time, and can dive from high in the air to catch prey out of the water with their long legs and talon-like claws. Diet is mostly made up of fish but also consists of crustaceans, jellyfish, and larger prey such as seals, sharks, squid and octopus. Moonskulkers are found near ocean cliff sides, where they make their homes out of caves high up in the sides of cliffs. They like to collect shiny things such as metals, jewels, and stones (also included would be things like silverware, or any objects that give off a shiny/metallic appearance). Their bodies are made up of sleek scales that give off a rainbow iridescent shine similar to a rainbow boa. Another fascinating thing about these dragons is how the moon is a large part of their being. For example, the rainbow scales only show under intense moonlight, though being a water species, they also can breathe a fire-like energy breath that is powered by light given off by the moon. These dragons rarely use their breath abilities unless feeling threatened or in territorial disputes. The energy breath is a silver/white color and gives off a very bright light, it does not burn but rather feels like being struck with an electrical surge. Moonskulkers are mostly solitary and are very shy to newcomers, but tend to open up to those they trust. Another interesting feature to these creatures is their horns and the gems which are made up of opal and moonstone (horns are usually made of opal and the gems are made of moonstone spheres). These dragons are bipedal but can walk on all fours when they land. (More to come as I think of things to add)
