Oops I'm gay?

Shane was sitting next to Shaun, not saying a word. But it was obvious something was on his mind. Shane was looking anywhere but Shaun, was messing with his fingers, and the overall atmosphere was weird.

"Okay dude, tell me what's going on." Shaun asked while looking at his friend.

Shane sighed and went, "I broke up with Katie today. Or more like we broke up with eachother? It was a mutual thing. I don't know what it was but like I couldn't kiss her. I thought I wanted to because we had been together for a bit but... When i saw her their waiting for the kiss I just felt gross? I don't know...."

Shaun could easily see where this was going. After all Shaun realized just earlier this year that he was bi as he dealt with crushing hard core on Cass and finding dudes really attractive. Shane definitely being one of those guys!

"Okay is it the act of kissing that grosses you out or is it the act of kissing her?" Shaun ask, ready to see if he was right.

"I don't know actually. I mean Katie is pretty and all but.... God I don't know man."

"Kiss me. See what happens." Shaun was very nonchalant about all of this.

Shane just stared at him before going, "What?"

Shaun gave Shane a friendly smile and said, "Kiss me. If its kissing girls that's gross then you won't mind kissing me. If it's kissing that's gross then you'll have wasted your first kiss on your best friend."

Shane thought for a moment and went, "Okay. I'll kiss you."

Shaun placed a hand on Shane's cheek, which made Shane blush (Shane didn't quite understand why though), and leaned in.

The moment Shaun's lips touched Shane's suddenly everything made sense. And suddenly Shane was kissing Shaun back. He didn't know what this feeling was really but he was liking it.

Shane was about to start to thread his fingers through Shaun's red hair, when Shaun pulled away. The two panted and Shaun gave Shane a small smile.

"That should be your answer then."

".... Yeah. This makes a lot of sense actually. I didn't really know this was an option though." Shane said with a small chuckle.

"Well aren't your parent like religious or something?"

"Yeah but they don't shove it down my throat. So it's kinda vague there. But uh... Thanks Shaun. You're a good friend. I felt really bad about not wanting to kiss Katie but I don't anymore." Shane said with a small smile.

Shaun smiled back and said, "Dude you're my best friend. I'm happy I could help you out."
