The time of the festival was wonderful, with foods and fun activities to be enjoyed by all. After having herself a good time among the festival-goers, Lilly turned her attention to another important key thing to this year's festival-- the Magiborb portal. It was a pretty recent discovery, or rather rediscovery, of a portal involving magic not of their kind! It was pretty exciting, though not as exciting to her when compared to the new beings coming to live in Keht that came through the portal. She never thought such interesting bird creatures would come through the portal! She had visited the portal a bit earlier in the day to check it out to see if what she heard was real, and it certainly was from what she saw then, but now that she has some free time after doing what she's wanted to do... she decided to visit it again to see who all might be coming through this time, if any were there! When she got to the portal, she noticed a Magiborb or two come on through the portal, both of which she greeted happily, before turning to look towards Soot. From what she heard from him in her earlier visit was something along the lines of him needing to help keep the portal open for more migrating Magiborbs, which involved the use of his magic and energy. When she looked at him now though... she could notice that he definitely seemed a bit more tired than before. Feeling a bit concerned ant wanting to help him out, she came up with an idea for a nice snack to keep him going for a bit longer-- some of her own cookies! Thankfully she had made some the day before as a sort of early celebration for the festival for her and her friends, and she had plenty leftover that she could share with him. Quickly, she ran back home to pack some cookies up in a small cloth bag. After completing her task, she went and hurried back over to the portal just as quickly, all the while having made sure the cookies remained in-tact. Once she arrived back at the portal, she came on up to Soot, happiness showing in her mask's eyes as she held up her treat to him. After a brief little exchange on how Lilly decided to bring him some of the cookies she made to help him get some more energy to keep the portal open, Soot smiled and gratefully accepted the bag of cookies. Moments after, he opened it up and indulged himself in a few, enjoying their sweet taste and thanking a happy Lilly once more for the treat to help keep him going a bit longer.
