He sighed with a rumble like a thundercloud, his shoulders rolling to ease the tension he felt from sight of the sudden cloudless downpour. His eyes settled on the pale face of a small woman standing in the small rain soaked courtyard. Clothes drenched, clinging to and accentuating her lithe features.

“Come on now, get out from this rain and get dry.” the tall man called out reproachfully, leaning against one of the pillars of the entryway. “Don't want you to rust up, little Kit.” The woman turned, her face bearing a fox-like grin, as likewise ears twitched atop her head. “Yes yes, fine.” she sighed, grin still in place at being caught in her little game.

Her first step towards the house to escape the sunshower clinked as her metal foot touched the stone path, and then her flesh took the next step. Careful skipping and hopping along the path to stand before the brooding face of her twice-as-tall companion. “Hurry up inside so we can get you dry,” he urged, before looking up. “And don't forget to stop all this this time, if you would?” He gestured one arm towards the sky before turning to go back inside. “Of course, dear wolf.” The small woman chuckled, wet tails flickered and fanned out as the foxrain halted and she hurried inside after the man she called her mate...
