Fissureclan Description

Fissureclan are somewhat of an enigma to those in the surrounding Appalachia. It takes a certain kind of cat to survive in the mountains, especially with the ever-looming threat of the close coast and the great storms that linger for days. What most cats who come across Fissureclan do not expect, however, is that the majority of them were once pets. Fissureclan cats are known for being on the quiet side. They are a hard working bunch, often scarred up from their mishaps with local wildlife and the rocky terrain they call home. A key defining trait of Fissureclan is their warmth towards humans. The leader, Candlelight, often meets with humans who visit the mountains and regards them fondly - this is an attitude that has spread amongst the clan. Sometimes cats leave the clan and return home with the humans who visit, never to be seen again. As a ragtag group of ex-pets, they don't mind the notion of living in such luxury again.

Fissureclan is mindful of the world around them and try not to take too much; careful of the balance of their ecosystem. They consider themselves stewards of the mountains and the caves Candlelight welcomed them into.
