suprise visit

Kaden slumped onto the couch of his and Taliyah's apartment. They still shared one together because... well, hey. It was cheaper. It was a long day at the office, and he honestly just wanted some peace and quiet while Taliyah was out.... but then the doorbell rang. He grunted and grumbled as he got up and marched to the door. He pulled it open, still in his human form, when he saw a familiar pink demon greet him. She seemed surprised to see him, but she just hadn't seen his human form before. "Oh. It's you again." he muttered as he let his form go and turned back to his grumpy green demon form. The pink demon realized it was him and smiled some big, dumb, goofy smile. "Hello right back atcha, Kaden!" she said as Kaden rolled his eyes and flopped back onto the couch. "Hi Thana. You're a bit early. Again." he muttered and she snickered. "I know! But you just like to see me sooo much, I thought I would be early." she said. Kaden rolled his eyes again. He didn't know who he rolled his eyes more at, Thana or Taliyah, but the two of them together gave him quite the facial workout.

"I don't know why you insist in showing up to bother me alone. The two of you do it perfectly well together." he sneered out, and Thana shrugged as she leaned up against their kitchen table. "I dunno. I just like surprising her. I don't know if you picked up on this, but I sort of have a crush on your sister or something." Kaden made a very bored gasping noise. "Nooo." he droned out and Thana nodded. "I do, no kidding! Like, a huge crush, or something." she joked as the sound of footsteps approached the door and the keys unlocked and opened the gateway to the apartment. A human stepped into the doormat for a moment before the human looks were dropped and a regular-looking Taliyah stood with a smile and a hand behind her back. Thana excitedly pushed off the table as Taliyah snickered and pulled her girlfriend in for a kiss with one hand. After a moment, Taliyah let go and pulled back, her smile wide. Thana tilted her head. "What?" she said and Taliyah snickered as she revealed her other hand. It was a small bouquet of white blue roses. Thana looked at them with wide eyes, wordlessly, then at Taliyah, who was grinning like an idiot. "Shut up. You did not." she said as Taliyah nodded, her eyes closed and her tongue sticking out of her grinning mouth. Thana broke into an even larger smile. "You didn't!" she said. "If I didn't, these wouldn't be for you, dumbass." Taliyah joked handing the entire bouquet over. Thana blinked for a second before taking them and pulling Taliyah in for another kiss. "I love you, bitch." Thana muttered and Taliyah snickered before faking a gasp. "I would never have guessed! But yeah, I love you too." she said. It was a nice, quiet and romantic moment... "Get a room you two. I'm trying to watch Survivor and your making out and romance is distracting me." Kaden shouted emotionlessly. The two snickered as they held hands and flopped onto the couch beside Kaden to join in.
