Queenie hated the beach.
It was always so noisy, full of vacationing families and squealing sprouts. The water was always restless, plotties splashing until they tired themselves out or met their daily water quota. (Except the local pondies, they could never get enough of the water.) Thus, she typically resigned herself to the deepest point of the lake. Few pondies ventured that deep for how dark the waters got, leaving it (and the sunken treasures that settled there) all to Queenie.
