The two elves were sitting at the top floor of a skyscraper, sipping their cocktails and looking down on the capital through the glass walls. The lights were popping on here and there, as the sun was setting on the horizon.
- I don't like thinking about that, - Flavor added more alcohol to her drink, - Everyone was too stuck in the previous world, I think. Maybe the new generation could overthrow the old geezers eventually and make way for some progress, but it would've been another thousand years. Imagine the amount of lost information for that period.
- That sounds horrible, - Cinnamon chuckled, - Well, I am quite pleased with the current turn of events, at least.
Flavor didn't answer, changing her sitting position and taking a swig straight from the bottle.
- ... And you're never pleased with anything.

Cinnamon put her glass on the table and took a straw out, playing with it.
