"Hey. Geth."

"Oh, hello." the dark-haired demon turned and smiled his usual, somewhat lukewarm smile. "All good today, Lucet?"

"Ehhh... Father's calling be back to Obsidian Castle." Caralucet sighed as his friend's smile suddenly dropped. "I know, I know. But there's not much I can do about it."

"Right... so, when will you be leaving?"

"The next airship's in a week. I actually, er- neglected to tell you about this as the letter came... two weeks ago or so. Sorry about that." The famous liar did indeed look apologetic as Gethsemane stepped closer to him - enough to touch shoulders.

"Should I cancel that play we were going to?"

"No, you can just give the second ticket to-"

"Oh, shut it, Lucet. I wanted to go with you, not somebody else." He put his arms around the heir. "I'll press a refund out of them. Is there anything else you want to do while we have time?"

"Eh... is there anything we can do in Tezera in the span of a week? It's mid-season and most of the stuff for the next seven days is sold out." Caralucet carefully leaned his head against Gethsemane's shoulder - taking care for his horns to not get in the way. "But you could try to catch the airship too. Come to the Castle with me."

"Lucet, that's mental. I'd do it, but it's on such short notice don't you think?"

"I guess so... we still need to be stingy with supplies. Oh! But father did manage to press out a tighter schedule though. So airships go every two months now instead of three and a half."

"So, next one is in the Month of the Sun?" Gethsemane questioned and gently stroked the other demon's hair. "Might you notify your father until then?"

"I will. Also, how much of that wine crate do we have left?"

"Three bottles, I reckon."

"Three? That's not nearly enough to get drunk on. We've gotta get more."

"Why, have you found a nice spot?" Gethsemane was trying to catch Lucet's gaze now, but the heir didn't comply with a grin on his face.

"Aye. Top of Old Huwah, with the view over the Regent's Citadel and the Zeppelin Station. It's mighty. You can even see the plaza." Lucet seemed to be proud of himself while relaying this find. Gethsemane looked pleased.

"Incredible. We haven't tried Old Huwah before, have we?"

"No, but it's all abandoned so I figured why not." The pale demon shrugged and laughed. Despite Lucet's impending leave, both seemed joyous. "Besides, some silly cults congregate there sometimes. Could harass them for the banter." At this, Gethsemane hummed in some kind of mixture between approval and scolding.

"Hey now, if both of us are plastered off of our asses, you think we'd be able to deal with a gaggle of cultists? I'm not forgiving the time you accidentally slashed me with your dagger." He had to remind Caralucet of that incident constantly. A small testament to the bad decisions of their (unfortunately still present) youth.

"We can catch them before! If we're lucky, that is. Now let go of me because we have stuff to plan!" Gethsemane only obeyed half of this and hoisted Caralucet up in his arms instead.

"Should we bring everybody else?"

"Pshh, no. I'm spending this week, or at least the last two days with you."
