A study conducted by Decadence shows that kittypillars, a recently introduced pet that you might find if you go and assist Dahlia on her farm with a few quick tasks, are on the rise as a popular pet. These cute little creatures are happy to accompany any Midveil citizen on their adventures, farming or not. They seem to enjoy being held and spending time with their owners, easily being some of the cutest pets ever to exist in Midveil, cute enough to cause some whispers in the pet care community that they might overthrow the classic goomdrop; but for now, the goomdrop stays strong as the most common pet, easily found, and easily one of the most lovable pets.

Even if Kittypillars aren’t working to overthrow goomdrops in the hierarchy of cuteness, they’ve still taken Midveil by storm, with lots of Midveilers choosing them over a paycheck of crumbs, Decadence estimates there is at least a whopping thirty eight documented kittypillar pets owned by midveilers, with more sure to come as Midveilers flood Dahlias farm in an attempt to get their hands on one of those adorable little creatures, or to get a hefty paycheck if they’d prefer that instead.

Decadence helped us to interview a few people who have noticed Kittypillars around, adding on that it is important to get community input. We first interviewed Onigirl, a kind farmer from Shesharu who was happy to give us his opinion on Kittypillars, “I like them, I see them around the farm quite frequently and they don’t cause too much trouble.” he explained. He seemed to enjoy them, but we wanted to know his opinion on the rise of kittypillars as pets, so we pressed on. He was more than happy to oblige, “I think cityfolks have taken a shine to them, not without reason of course. They are rather cute and most people can’t leave Dahlia’s farm without them.” he explained to us, “They are becoming a bit of a trend, and with so many kittypillars around that need loving homes, hopefully a long lasting one.”

Next we hoped to reach a different crowd, Midveilers who own Kittypillars. For this, we interviewed a friendly Arborling farmer named Clarence, who had quite a bit to say about them. “They’re some of the cutest little’uns in Midveil! My Sunny is a sensitive gal, cute as they come. She can be a little clumsy, and being the delicate little one she is she feels really guilty when she does mess up.” he explained,”She tries really hard to help me with my farming, but she’s a little- she has no hands and can’t do much, but I appreciate the company.” He then told us a story about her, “One time, I took her and my daughter out to a picnic. Sunny got over excited and ate all of our food! She felt so bad but we just thought it was adorable.”

With all this information, we can easily conclude that Kittypillars are definitely on the rise! These adorable little critters seem to make wonderful pets, and we definitely suggest that you the reader head over to Dahlia’s farm to pick up one of your own.
