“No…” The skeleton watched as the one monster who really understood him was turning into dust right in his arms. “No.” She had fought so hard. So brave. But in the end, it wasn’t enough. “No!” The human was too much, even for her. “NO!” Tears rolled down from his eye socket. His eyes glowed red with rage and sadness. “NONONO!!!” He clenched his fist when there was nothing left but her dust, he couldn’t take it anymore. Judgement was coming upon that kid! He got up and summoned his weapons. Giant skeleton heads of an unknown creature that can shoot lasers. “Kids like you should suffer!” The heads started to fire their lasers. “SUFFER IN HELL!!!” Using magic, Underfell Sans tossed the human around against the walls. Dodging any and all attacks that the punk had tried. The human wasn’t giving up, but nor was the last monster standing in their way to the king.

Just when Sans was starting to get tired from all the dodging and attacking, they had been doing. But Sans had gotten a lot of good hits in. “Just die already!” Sans yelled after throwing the kid into a pillar once again. The human gasped as that attack had winded them.

“Tch! This isn’t worth it!” The human snapped their fingers and reset the world. To before they attacked.

To Sans, this had happened before. Too many times before. He would suddenly feel dizzy and pass out. Then woke up on his bed. When this first happened, Sans thought maybe it was nothing more then a dream. A bad dream. But things felt like a repeat every single time. Same conversations. Same everything. Like a broken record. But this time, this time there was one difference. This was the first time the human reset after killing her, Aputa. This was enough to spring the shorter skeleton off his bed and rush out the door.

This however didn’t go unnoticed by the taller brother, Papyrus. “Took you long enough! Now we-“ he started to say.

“Yeah boss I know! Get to patrolling! I’ll catch up with you, I got to take care of something!” Sans said before running out of the house.

“HEY GET BACK HERE!!!” Pap angerly glared at Sans through the window. “Tch! I swear if he’s late he’s going to get it.” He looks down at a small and very adorable kitten he adopted a while back. “Ain’t that right DoomFanger?” The skeleton asked with a sweet smile and giving the kitten a light scratch on the top of the head.

                “Mew!~” The kitten replied.

Sans panted as he ran for the house in the waterfall. “Please be there! Please be there!” He made it to the door and knocks on it rapidly.

“Coming! I’m coming!” a female voice said on the other side of the door. A minute later, Aputa, the girl that the skeleton nearly lost opened the door. “Oh sans. Is there something that I-“ But before she could finish asking her question, Sans suddenly hugged her, sobbing, and speaking incoherently. “Wow, what’s gotten into you?!” She seemed very worried about him and she kneeled to his level and gently held his cheek bones to make him look at her. “Did Papyrus say something? Or did he torment you?”

He starts to wipe his tears. “N-no… You…” He shakes his head. It might be best for her not to know. After all, no one knows about the cursed power of his. The one that makes him remember all the times the human has done something before resetting the world. “Nah it’s nothing too big. Just had a rough night that’s all and well you’re the only one I can go to. Can’t really go to Paps for a shoulder to cry. You know how he is.”

Aputa hated it when he avoided saying what really was going on with him. It annoyed her to no end. Was this some sort of stupid manly pride thing? Make themselves seem like they were so strong that they could handle whatever comes their way? She sighs and shakes her head. She knew that no matter how many times she asks him to tell her, Sans will keep his bony lips shut. “Alright fine if you say so… You want to come inside? I believe I still have some cookies left from the last batch I made.”

“Sure, after that I’ll need to go out and do patrol with the boss before he throws another temper tantrum,” Sans said making a little bit of fun about his younger brother.

Aputa couldn’t help but chuckle. “Yeah, but he can be kind of cute when he’s screeching over something minor.”

                “Yep!”

Soon the two of them were just talking about some of the fun times they’ve had together and with the other skeleton. Honestly, this is what Sans needed more than anything. Just some peaceful and quite time with the girl he has feelings for. Honestly, it was starting to kill him that he hasn’t told her yet. He needs to do it soon. The fear of that human going on a killing spree again was still in his mind. And next time, he might not be able to survive. He clenched his bony fist under the table. “Aputa. There’s… There’s something important that I need to tell you.” His cheek bones started to turn red from his blushing. “I… I l-l-“He started to stutter and stumble over his words. He was so nervous that it was kind of cute. But before he could finish what he was saying, he heard yelling outside.

“SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! WHERE ARE YOU?! YOU LAZY BONES!” It was Papyrus.

“Oh crud! Ah, sorry Aputa! I got to go! I’ll see you later!” Sans rushes out, but not before he uses his magic to create a message with the cookie crumbs.

“See ya Sans!” She waves as he leaves the house in a hurry. It’s only after the skeleton leaves that she notices the message left behind and blushes like mad. But in the end, she smiles. “Oh, you silly boy. I love you too.”
