Subject 051: Lay

As our projects and treatments develop, people and potential clients keep challenging us to come up with more complex and intricate designs, treatments and changes. Now, whilst we have been doing our best to provide these treatments, we're beginning to find the best, safest and most permanent way of securing these complex changes, is to do it in stages. For example, if someone wants to be a tiny squirrel, it's best for us to ensure that both the size change and the squirrel elements are concrete and secure independently before moving onto the next stage. As a lot of our treatments involve the changing and alterations of size, we decided to spend some time ensuring that our methods for shrinking, or indeed growing clients was airtight, and would firmly impact on their DNA and genetic makeup as oppose to 'tricking' their existing biology. Dr. Grey believed to have produced a severe and permanent alteration that could affect and clients size, and so we put out requests for subjects. We made sure to make it absolutely clear what this treatment was, and the potential and intended permanent effect.
Mr. Lay was someone who submitted an application to become a subject for this test. We made sure to go through everything and it explain it to him, most notable the size he would likely be reduced to and what would happen afterwards. Agreeing to the terms with a sort of curious excitement, Mr. Lay was taken through to the main laboratory, where Dr. Grey, Dr. Summers and Ms. Belle waiting to administer the treatment. Before long, Mr. Lay found himself shrinking into his clothing, his body reducing to only a number of inches in height. To our relief, he seems both safe and enjoying his new height. As with all our more severe and permanent changes, Mr. Lay is being kept here at the lab for close study and rehabilitation, to ensure he's comfortable at this new size. We've ordered some unique clothing for him, but in the meantime, Ms. Belle has tried to fashion some clothing out of his old jacket. She's not the best seamstress around, but Mr. Lay seems quite content with the results.
