Chimereon [Event - TM] | In Search To Prank

A young Chimereon with pretty light orange wings flew along with grace along the trees and streetlights. It's that day again of course! Halloween where Chimereons are restless and eager to just scare people off or just an excuse to bring in any candies from last year's Halloween or Christmas and dunk it off to children without having a clue they may have expired or not. Who knows who's the unlucky one? 

She was eager to find someone to scare but who to scare? Last year, she didn't actually prank Chimereons but ended up giving candies to Chimereons who pranked her badly so she wasn't able to have the guts to do that but now, no more thoughts on who was that. She's confident enough to gain revenge to prank anyone back. That would mean, scaring the innocent with blood curling screams and appearing just like a monster. Her name is Sia and she will attempt to rule this night once and for all... with her special costumes of one of the villainous characters in some show. Perhaps her in an olive suit with a razor might have given an idea who is she being for this Halloween.

Someone caught her eye though while thinking of a plan. A younger pinked haired Chimereon along with distinguished outfit of black and gold with her headphone, it seems like she was cosplaying a singing synthesizer and you didn't have to think much on who it was. She was exactly the match of Megurine Luka but only thing to mention the odd thing is that Chimereon's hair colour is darker so suggesting this was a mistake or not, that pink Chimereon didn't care and thought this might save her time to fix anything else. It's quite a valid excuse the fact she's all pink and if she didn't have time to think about it. She doesn't look like she is with anyone so it's the perfect Chimereon a prank.

"Perfect," said Sia quietly above the trees as she sat looking carefully at her as if she were her prey. Soon, before she was able to leap to her, she quickly stopped for a moment to think... heck, she didn't think what prank she was going to do! If she were only to jump in front of her and scare her, it'll be a weak yet disappointing fact that this is very cliche so she wanted to find a unique way to prank within depth. Without notice, she was highly unstable of balance on the tree and didn't have time to catch up on being in danger to fly. In the end, she fell on a soft, younger blue Chimereon... somewhat the age of the pink Chimereon's looks about a young adult.

He wears... some kind of odd looking costume. Wait, he doesn't look like he's wearing a costume apparently but after all, he did wear the 'Alice in Wonderland' cosplay for almost 3 times in a year including the first Halloween time so he thought of changing up a bit. Just your regular plain school outfit just like in the 'Daily Lives of a High School Boys' type of anime along with his ruffled up hair. Suitable for cosplay and normal everyday usage so it can be an acceptable excuse.

". . . get off from me..."

Without hesitation, he pushed the winged Chimereon off to his left and stood up to dust off his outfit. He sighed and averted his eyes off somewhere else but he kept staring at the poor lady. He thought on what the heck she have been through so he thought he could help her out so the moment he reached out his hand to Sia, she pulled out a razor and shows a grimacing smile so the moment it happened, the blue Chimereon screamed and ran away as fast as he could in a speed of light. Huh, would make sense with his ears if he puts them upwards so it could be noted he's like a rabbit and oops... may be she shouldn't have done that because if she talked to him about what she was trying to get, he might be willing to help her gain a plan. There goes that option out the window now that's gone. She might as well think again next time instead of frightening Chimereons out of spite.

No more doing that, she thought but once another Chimereon came by, they tapped her shoulder, she was the one who ended up being frightened and defended herself with a razor. Although, she didn't press it, the Chimereon behind her was just confused but they didn't bother to judge her or anything. Instead, they gave a smile and a hand... this is strange, isn't it? Sia quickly put back the razor, took his hand by the wrist and looked at his hand. Would you look at that? The old trick in the book, a joy buzzer... or what kids nowadays call a 'hand buzzer' where people just shock them by a simple handshake. Seems like the bat has been caught red-handed.

"You got me. I'm not surprised, lady and fair is fair... here we are," they said in return, the bat Chimereon pulled out their candies that they have gotten pass through most of the door for Halloween but truthfully, Sia didn't want to take them but instead, she ask them if they could compensate it with a plan for her to prank and spook the young pink Chimereon. They were a little skeptical thinking she may pull a reverse UNO card on them but by the looks in her eyes, she doesn't seem to show that to them and she really mean it about so they went along in a friendly chat with suggestions on a walk as they kept the candies back to their hands. This bat Chimereon is wearing an adorable outfit fitting from a horror movie... perhaps something like from 'IT' would have given a clue why he's wearing a yellow raincoat.

More ideas went by in the mind pot of mischief and soon, a spark of a bright bulb light shines their eyes. They both have wings... now if they were to combine together, they would be able to act as one beast Chimereon with four wings and two head. Sounds like a perfect monster hybrid to scare anyone just like a Chimera or Cerberus... well, without three heads. As part of the deal, the bat Chimereon joined in the fun and introduced themselves as Nico. Sia introduced herself as well but she kept it short in silence after that. By the looks of her face, it doesn't seem like she's a talker so it could be understandable how most of the Chimereons may have mistaken her as shy until she shows her true nature.

Nico went to Sia's back to be carried just like in a piggyback ride and open their wings along with hers. Now then, where could she find the pink Chimereon now? She was so busy thinking of a plan that she lost sight of her but just the moment, she pass by houses, a rustling from the bushes can be heard. They both didn't want to check as curiosity killed the cat but in a way, they might as well do just in case. Who knows who is in there? A prankster they could end up backfiring them back or just some animal?

Sia shifted the bush to open a gap to see what is inside and surprisingly, it's the same blue Chimereon she scared a while ago but it looks like he curled up into a ball in tears. As his red eyes shifted to the gap, his eyes dilated and goes back into terrified mode. He wasn't able to say anything but just a silent poker face written all over him. The fact he didn't faint was probably a good progress of him enable to handle his mental state but without a word, Sia closed back the bush and cover the holes. They left him be since it does look like if they do scare him too much, it might cause him to breakdown or gain a heart attack but either way, they don't want to be responsible for the poor Chimereon's death or case. It's never fun to end up knowing that the Chimereon you have met before ends up dying in the worse case in your hands.

Away from the bushes and skipping by houses, they carefully looked in front of their path and vaguely see a pink figure. Sia thought and confirmed to Nico that the Chimereon they are seeing at the front so just in a second, she quickly rushed to her in attempts to scare her although Nico didn't exactly catch up and prepare but once they look up even closer, it's not the same pink Chimereon that they saw. This pink Chimereon is wearing a pretty corpse bride dress and have short hair. Not just that, half of her hair is coloured white that if she were to dress as the villain, Cruella De Vil from 'The Hundred and One Dalmatians' and dyed her hair black on the pink side of the hair, then she would be a perfect match though ignoring any other pink elements on her fur. The young Chimereon turned around within curiosity and tilted her head.

"Do you need something?" she asked in a polite tone as she shifted her body towards to Sia and Nico. Her gestures tells that she seems to be interested on what they wanted to talk about but in the end, both told the young pink Chimereon that they have mistaken her for another and with a shrug from her, they walked off to continue searching for her. One after another, they found more pink Chimereons but in the end, there was always one minor thing off from their appearances so it's often a fault in their assumptions when they see from afar. They have met another one that wears a clown outfit that matches with Nico's pair with the creepiest look on her face but with another look from her hair's colour, it was clear it wasn't the Chimereon they are looking for. She have green hair instead of pink and there wasn't any trihorns on her head so they pretended they were looking somewhere else to prevent an uncomfortable atmosphere but apparently, the costume they have is actually scaring them so they left. Then another one they caught up but this time, this Chimereon wears a lovely witch outfit that the more they stared carefully in appearance, the more they thought it was her but by mistake, once they looked again, he does have trihorns but they are blue which didn't match so they sighed and skipped him. Though, Sia's temptation to pull out a razor didn't last long and in the end, that Chimereon was scared and ran away from the razor in hopes she doesn't all of his fur.

Feeling it is futile after one by one of these Chimereons coated in pink, neither of them matched so they almost gave up but instead they took a rest on top of the tree to sit separately. Sharing candies that although Sia refuses, she decided to get one for the sake of covering his generosity though they both grumbled and sighed looking from below on the Chimereons passing by with colourful costumes from animes to movies to just 'plainly I gave up so we're going to use the standard Halloween costumes'. It's never a surprise on how much most of them put effort looking great for this event. Thinking about what if they have successfully done it, would that change anything? Perhaps not but this is Halloween so can't expect anyone to feel guilty tricking Chimereons to get treats or literally do that to get someone's candies that they worked hard for... well, depending on the Chimereon you're looking at. Carefully caught by eye, they found the Chimereon they were looking for and all what she have seen carefully matches the description!

Time to fly down and prepare for the scare. Back at it again, Nico hoped it'll suffice and with his wings follow along with Sia's, they rushed to her and screeched but before they could have time to defend, the young pink Chimereon that Sia saw earlier pulled out a knife that pointed to her neck. Sia quickly stopped her running before her throat was slit. The sharp pointed edge was touching but luckily, it didn't go through and it doesn't look like she is attempting to move her throat because she felt like if she did, it might cause the pink Chimereon to catch up her movements and cut her. With their full attention towards the stranger, she said...

"Happy April Fools!"

With both Sia and Nico with a face of fear, it shift to a poker face thinking that's wrong. Did this Chimereon literally got the events mixed up or she got a lose wire in her brain. The pink Chimereon tilted her head and tapped her chin seeing what is wrong.

"Lady, it's Halloween... October... how did you get mixed up?" said Nico to the stranger who still held Sia on knife point but after a while, she pulls back the knife and showed them when she put the knife on her wrist and try to slit it, there was no sign of blood. That was a fake knife... that she apparently keep. That was just luck there that if Sia kept on going, this could have gone well but by instincts, she had to think about her life at risk. Nico would have done the same so he accepted the fact it's common for anyone to react the same thing.

"Messing with you. Of course I knew it's Halloween, thought it's nice to backfire your pranks by doing this. Though, I gotta say, you caught me well but you're not fast enough to avoid anyone with my type of sneak instincts. I can sense you two a mile away when you two were planning..." she smiled as she looked at the the two to continue her words as she flipped the fake knife upwards only to catch it back,"If you two want to prank me, keep on trying... if not next year is always a year to take revenge."

Just that, she quickly disappeared into thin air just like a ninja. All they could find was a small piece of paper on the floor so picking it up, they both look at it and read the front... it seems to be the Chimereon's name... 'Kawakaze'. That is what it says but once flipping the paper, they jolted a little and laughed it off. The paper had a spooky picture on the other side apparently, how clever of her to do that. Looks like someone is off to a great start on pranking Chimereons in a unique way. They might as well start right now. With both of them nodding to each other, they flew together off through out the streets to continue finding her and happily pranking the rest of the other Chimereons.
