It stood, humming, in the middle of the aisle. It was considering the several packs of chocolate on display, trying to decide which was more worth it. Expensive? Or cheapness, resulting in a greater volume for the same price?

On it's blind side, it heard a small gasp.
It turned.

There was a child, clutching a stuffed toy. The thing was tiny, big brown eyes staring up at it.

"Eas' bunny?" Asked the child. Eas' bunny? Asked Rip/Tear, attempting to piece together what this meant-
A soft voice inside the blind side supplied visions of a rabbit bringing chocolate and plastic eggs to children. A holiday with a rabbit. Easter bunny.

Ah.
Not exactly.

But it admired the child's curiosity, and willingness to walk up to something from most other's bad dreams.
And the fact that they could see it at all.

It leaned down, retrieving a chocolate package from the shelf and several dollars in cash from a pocket upon its person. It handed both to the child.
"Shh," it said, "looking forward to giving more next easter, yes? Buy with this. Keep change. Good child."

The child's eyes grew wider, and they sprinted off. It did not know why it had done that.

There was a warmth within its torso.

Kindness, supplied the blind side, this is kindness. The pleasant feelings will always come with kindness.
