“Caius…  Was it that necessary to bring a limo?  I think something like a Ferrari would have been enough,” Sachi closed the door behind her.

“Sounds like a ‘you’ kind of problem,” I chuckled.

“It’s just a simple visit to the mall!”

“And?”  I raised a brow.  “I’ll have you know that I prefer to ride in style.  Besides, it’s such a chore to drive myself, I would rather have someone do it for me.”

“I could have driven your Ferrari.”

“As if.”

She let out a sigh.

The reason as to why we decided to go to the mall together, or why I even bothered to go to the mall in the first place, was due to my company as they wanted me to meet up with an important client who proposed a collaboration (there’s no need for me to get into the details).   Meanwhile, Sachi needed to do some shopping of her own and thought it would be fun to try on clothes with me.

“Did it go well?”  She asked as I returned from the meeting.

“I suppose,” I said.

“I’ll take that as a yes.”

“Anyway,” she continued, “I thought of a neat idea.”

“Another one?” I asked.

“You bet,” Sachi grinned.  “Let’s do a style swap!  I will dress you in your style and I dress you in mine.”

“Oh?”  My eyes widened before they curved into a smile.  “That does sound interesting.  Alright, I’m up for it.”

“Let’s dress you up first then as the  stores I shop at are just around the corner.”

“Here we are,” she stopped in front of one of the more casual stores.  It wasn’t packed with people, but you could say it was moderately busy.  “Though, it seems like there’s a lot of people in there today…”

“Should I just kick them out?”  I titled my head.

“What, no!”  Sachi turned to meet me.  “It would be too quiet and that’s just weird.  I don’t wanna make people leave!”

“Have it your way,” I shrugged.

We forced our way in, apologizing as we brushed shoulders with others.  It took us a minute to get to the racks that Sachi had in mind for me.

“To be honest, you would look good in anything here,” Sachi said as she filed through the clothes.

“Is that going to be your excuse while trying to dress me in rags?”  I chuckled.

“UGH CAIUS!”  She rolled her eyes.  “It’s not going to be that bad!”

“I know, I know~”

At some point, she shoved me into the dressing room with an assortment of clothes.  I casually glanced through it and they were to my likings: a black turtleneck, blue jeans, and a brown overcoat.

“Sachi,” I called to her from the dressing room.  “You didn’t give me any shoes to wear.”

“They don’t sell shoes at this store, besides you only need one pair!  The pair you’re wearing work fine, don’t they?”  She snapped from outside.

“They do,” I laughed to myself as I put on the clothes.

The material feels fine, but they’re not as soft as they could be.  Well, whatever.

When I stepped out she gave me a thumbs up.  “Perfecto.”

“If you say so,” I said as I slipped my sunglasses into the front pocket of the overcoat.

“What?”  She titled her head.  “You don’t think so?”

“No,” I smiled.  “I’m just trusting your judgment.”

“You….”  She gave up mid-sentence and began to head to the registers with a sigh.  “Let’s just head to the register.”

“Alright~”  I happily followed after her, knowing that I got underneath her skin.

After that, I showed her to one of the formal and more expensive stores. There were only a few customers there, which gave us room to breathe, unlike the other store.

I stared at Sachi for a brief moment before beginning to scour through the clothing racks.

“Who would wear this?”  Sachi casually pulled out a golden, glittery vest from a rack.  “It’s so gaudy.”

“It may look like that on its own, however, if you pair it with black clothing then it would do just fine.  Anyway, put that away, neither of us will ever wear that god-awful thing.”

“So it is ugly.”

It took a minute to make a complete outfit, but when I made my selection I handed them over to her.  “We can leave the shoes for after you put these on.”

“Shoes too?”  She seemed surprised.

“Why not?”  I laughed.  “The shoes you’re wearing right now won’t mix well with what you’re about to wear, trust me.”

After a bit more bickering she went ahead into the dressing room.

“Uhh….  I think this is too formal,”  Sachi said from inside of the dressing room.  “There’s barely any room to breathe in here.”

“Welcome to my life,” I laughed into my hand.  “Well regardless, it’s not like you will be entering combat in it.”

“True, but still…”

“If it really is that troublesome then leave off the first button at the collar, that’s what I do.”

“Like a little button could do something,”  She sighed, but it sounded like she complied as I heard the pop of a button.

A few moments later she stepped out, her shoes and previously worn clothes in hand.

 “It suits you,” I remarked.

It really did.  A white-collared button-down shirt that was rolled up to her elbows (by my request), black tie with rich golden patterns, a navy blue vest, and black formal pants.

“I hope so,” she mumbled.

“If you don’t believe me then take a good look at yourself in the mirror,” I dragged the full-body mirror over.

She proceeded gazed at herself in the mirror, shifting around to see how it fitted around her body.

While she was busy with that I called over a worker, informing them what style and color of shoes I would like them to bring over.

When she was done looking at herself was the exact moment when the shoes arrived.  I thanked the worker and they went back to their station.

“Try these on,” I placed the shoes down in front of her.

“Are these even going to fit?  I don’t recall telling you my size ever….”  She gave me a doubtful look, but even so, she slipped herself into them.

“....  Are you a demon or something?”  She eyed me.  “They fit too well.  Same thing with the clothes!”

“Perhaps I’m just that good,” I smiled.

“Damn.”

We both left shortly after that, the bills all on me.  We went back into the car and begun to drive off.

“Hey… Uh..  This isn’t the way back to the school,” she said a few minutes after we were on the road.

“Wow?”  I faked shocked in my voice.  “You just realized?”

“Okay asshole.”

I smiled.  “While you were in the changing room I also called a friend of mine and asked if they could hook us up with a short photoshoot.  They gave me the green light, so I hope you don’t mind the detour.”

“I don’t,” she smiled back.

“Good.”
