Halla

The speckled female sat in silence, smiling brightly snuggled up into Silgs long, amazingly fluffy fur, playing with it idly as she watched Hrim and Silenus. Their two beautiful pups were getting so big. The both of them roughhousing with one another on still shaky legs. Silenus slightly more balanced, being the first of the twins to be more active... Hrim, however... She giggled a little, nosing into Silgs fur, who looked to her in curiosity. "What is it my love?" he asked her quietly, looking as Hrim gave a small chirping growl as he toppled onto his twin brother, using his slightly bulkier form against his slighter brother.

Looking to him, she loosely twined her tail with his before letting it sway slowly. "Nothing... Just thinking... We've had quite the time." she told him, petting his arm in affection, leaning up to start grooming him. "It has been a good year..." She told him, the male chuckling lowly. "Yes, he agreed. It has been." he told her, eyes half closing, enjoying the affectionate grooming of his beloved mate as she ran her fingers through his fur.

It had been a wonderful year. Her mate was here with her. He had come, and been accepted into the clan.. and she... her leatherwork had come to improve even more while she had been relaxing with not only one, but two beautiful lives growing within her... Quite the shock to her system if she was quite honest. She had never expected to end up with two pups... but she was overjoyed at the fact all the same. It felt as though everything had fallen into place, and she loved it more then anything, as she chattered aimlessly with her mate about the harness she had been working on for a toskal who had requested her specifically, and just what it was she was getting in return for the trade.

Her words died down as she felt a little hand to her leg, looking down into the big, perfect eyes of Silenus, who climbed up her leg and up onto her chest, making her hand raise to support him as he curled up against her, head resting against the crook the of his mothers neck, Silg chuckling some as Hrimthurs did the same to him. "At least he's walking now, and not simply rolling around everywhere." he noted, making Halla give a small giggle. "He got up when he had somewhere to go." she assured, reaching out and stroking a gentle hand against her other pups cheek, who gave a low chirp of enjoyment. Silenus already asleep against her. The male could fall asleep in a thunderstorm and never wake... it was quite amazing, really.

Her gaze looking over her little family... yes, things have been amazing the past year. The happiness of finding out. Her nervousness of telling Silg...  It had always been a foolish thing to be nervous... she had known he would be excited. Eager. Yet she had still fretted needlessly. Pacing in their home... she ha even taken two full days longer then she had intended. But she had finally told him. Finally gotten out the truth, and Silg's reaction had not disappointed in the least. His eyes widening in shock. The wide smile that came over him and his laugh of happiness and the joyous hug she received after telling him... All her worry and fear had been quelled in that one instance by that laugh. That embrace... that love. A love that she could only imagine others might be jealous of, because she could never picture anyone loving anyone more then she loved her mate. Her pups.

She wanted for nothing more then what she had right then, in the moment... in the past year, or even a couple years... except... A smile came to her face as she looked to Silg, holding onto the slowly drifting Hrim. "... Do you thing we could handle another one?" she asked Curiously. Side eyeing him with a small smile playing across her lips as he stared at her in sunned silence for a moment before that same, slow, wide grin came over his features. "Oh, i'm sure we can handle anything my love." he assured her, the small family leaning into one another once more in comfort and happiness. Yes... this was the greatest life one could ever have. Happy for what had come of the year, and eager to look forward towards another year that would no doubt be just as amazing, if not more.
