Species Lore: Werewolves

Basics:
>>Werewolves are humanoid creatures that have both a human form and a wolf form
>>Werewolves can be just humanoids creatures that have been turned, but can also be purely-born from pureborn werewolf parents

Turning VS. Pure-Blood:

Turning:
>>This occurs when a non-werewolf (it doesn’t just have to be a human, it can be any non-werewolf creature) gets bitten by a werewolf in their wolf form and doesn’t clean the wound
>>If the bite isn’t cleaned in time, the non-werewolf can get the special werewolf disease “Lupix”, which causes one to develop werewolf-like characteristics
>>These kinds of werewolves are often the ones that lose their humanity and become more monstrous and harmful

Pure-Blood:
>>Pure-blood werewolves are werewolves that occured naturally and were born as werewolves from pure werewolf parents
>>These are unaffected by the Lupix virus, and are often more humane in both their human and wolf forms

Strengths:
>>Incredible strength, speed, and senses
>>Usually quite good with other animals
>>Quite durable
>>Sharp claws and canines

Weaknesses:
>>Sensitive to strong sounds and smells
>>Usually not quite as smart as other species due to their dog-like behavior
>>Silver can cause a lot of damage to them
>>They howl...a lot...like, A LOT a lot
