It was early evening when the circus rolled into town. There was much work to be done before nightfall, so they got to work immediately, setting up their tents. With heavy equipment moving about every which way, the setup process wasn’t particularly safe for children. Zero and Eden didn’t mind, however. It gave them an excuse to run off and explore the new town, which was always their favorite part of the circus.
