its time to honk.

The bright sun cased Archie to squint as they arrived at their local park. It had been a while since they had come this way, but the weather was too nice no to take up the opportunity for a stroll. But as Archie knew, walking as a human wasn't exciting enough, so, with a slight strain, a veil of mystical light surrounded Archie as their form changed from from human to avian. Specifically, Archie had transformed into a snow white goose, sporting a purple ribbon around their neck.

"Ahhh, it's nice being this small and nimble for once," they remarked, taking a moment to ruffle their feathers to let the warmth of the sun set in. Archie waddled about the park in an endearing fashion, passing by people of all sorts. Some were endeared at their presence, others wanted to avoid them at all costs. A few kids ran up to Archie and grabbed at their tail and neck, to which Archie flew away a few meters or gave a loud "honk" to tell them to back off. Sure, Archie had the capability to transform into a goose that could talk, but where was the fun in that?

Suddenly, Archie encountered a small flock of ducks huddled by the pond at the edge of the park. Archie sauntered over the group, who seemed to pay no mind to Archie outside of a brief look. After briefly taking a dip in the cool water, Archie thought to themselves,

"Hee hee. I wonder what would happen if..."

Archie looked all around themselves, then, with another burst of mysterious light, Archie returned to their human form.

"Raaaaah!" Archie let out a playful roar as the ducks scattered in a panic. A few people watched on in rapt awe, some in confusion as where that white goose had gone. Archie burst into a fit of giggles as the ducks scattered throughout the park, quacking frantically and flying about in a delirious flurry of feathers.
