Fayth was more prepared this time and approached with Alix, a piece of paper in her hand as well as a pen in the other.

She waved to the young woman that she had spoken to earlier at the campfire and silently hoped that she was doing well. Her partner waved to the floral man that they had spoken to and the flowers that they had smelled. Alix told Fayth about how they remembered the pansy shortbread cookies they made and promised that they would make some for her as soon as they got back home.

Fayth took the piece of paper to an empty log and scribbled a note for the young woman saying, "Thank you for helping me remember who I love the most and who I owe the world to. It helped us rekindle our love and realize the things we need to fix most in our lives. We want to be happy."

It took a few moments of thinking before she added, "I hope you're happy too, and I hope you have someone like that in your life. You deserve it, after sitting by the campfire for so long and listening to so many people's stories. You have a good heart, and someone should take care of that. You can't care for everyone your whole life without having someone care for you, you know."

Fayth held it up for Alix to read and they nodded their head, agreeing with what she said. "That's very sweet of you, honey. Why don't you give it to her?" they suggested.

Yes, yes, I will! she thought in response and looked over at the woman with the black hair. Fayth smiled as she walked over and held out the paper to her, urging her to take it.

She returned to her partner, and they giddily held hands. It felt as if they were young again.
