Opalite bleated with happiness as her enormous wife buried her snout into the sheep’s hair. Elk was not so imposing like this. Not when stretched out on her back with the innocent sheep sprawled out on her fluffy belly. The two of them surrounded by a mountain of plushies; Oplaite collected from their mob slaying adventures. The two of them peppered each other with kisses as they waited for the rain to fade. However, the rain drummed on the roof with more intensity. Hiking was cancelled for today. Despite all of her wasted planning, Opalite was overjoyed to spend the time with Elk. When she was with the demi-goddess, she could think of nothing else.

Elk would be a monsterous sight to most creatures, even here in the Realm of Wrath and Stars. Which was part of the reason Elk adored her ‘Angel’. The sheep’s hatred for the abuse and prejudice from her previous life was intoxicating to the demi-goddess. Everything about Opalite was irresistible. So much so that the larger female’s kisses morphed into sloppy, hungry licks and nibbles. Her mouth travelling down over Opalite’s form. Oplaite was too much of a pushover to resist her lover, surrendering to her.

The demi-goddess loomed over her. A towering mass of dark, blackish grey fur and a tangled mane of scraggly, black hair that bumped her head against the ceiling when she stood up. The couple was saving up on their mob-slaying adventures to slowly upgrade their small home to accommodate both of them.

“Elk! You’re heavy.” Opalite groaned.

Her starlight white hair tousled from all the nuzzling. Her glasses askew. The anthropomorphic sheep corrected them. She squirmed as Elk shoved her nose under her lover’s light blue hoodie. Sniffing like a curious puppy. Opalite gasped, covering her mouth with both hands.

The rain beat down like Opalite’s heart. Getting faster as Elk teetered on the brink of turning feral. The rain was calming. The smaller female had always loved the sound and smell of rain. Elk threw the mountain of plush toys covering the bed to the ground with the sweep of her large tail as she clasped the fabric of the hoodie, threatening to tear it off. Opalite bleated, panicking. Her square pupils dilated.

“I’ll t-take it off. Please d-don’t tear another one.”

“My angel.”

“I know, but you need to let me up, so I can cuddle you too.”

This was a side of the considerably larger female that was reserved specifically for the sheep. Usually, Elk was aggressive and short-tempered with everyone. Everyone except her wife. Opalite wanted to accuse Elk of summoning rain as an excuse to cuddle, but her element was fire. From what Opalite knew the demi-goddesses could have many powers. Maybe that was wistful thinking?

“How did someone like you end up in a place like this? You are too pure.” Elk complimented.

Cuddle? Oh, she wanted so much more. Elk had been starved of touches from her lover, invested in making content for their Youtube channel or out slaying mobs for their precious loot. Opalite wanted precious, intimate moments like this to last forever, but Elk was determined to ravage her as quickly as she could. With the exception of not hurting her smaller, frail soul mate.

Her forked tongue was soft. Her red claws and fangs shimmering. Opalite wrapped her arms around the spikes on Elk’s tail. Holding on tight as her lover’s tongue continued to travel down her torso. Two of Elk’s eyes were closed, while her third peered lovingly at the smaller female. Opalite moaned. Eyes closed. Cheeks blushing. Ears swivelling nervously. Opalite reached up, brushing Elk’s shaggy hair out of her eyes, tucking the strands behind her long backwards facing horns. The smaller female’s white hair cascaded out of its neat bun over her shoulders.

Opalite’s scent was crisp, chilly and cold like mint. Compared to Elk’s smokey, warm scent. The world outside could wait. All that mattered was the union of colours and ideologies.

The dark, wrathful Elk. Greys, reds and blacks. Very ominous. Like a real paranormal creature with ill intentions. The light and pure Opalite with all of her cool blues, whites and delicate smile.

“My angel, you smell so nice today. I could just eat you up.”

“P-please don’t. I want to go hiking today.”

“In this weather?” Elk rolled all three of her eyes.

“There’s lots of places that we could go; when it stops raining. How about we film a new video for our channel? Or we could play some video games? I could try teaching you how to play DnD?”

“Later.” Elk purred, going in for a kiss on the mouth.

“Elk!”

“Hmmn. Delicious.” Elk licked her lips. “Tastes sweet, like you.”

“Stop it.” She giggled.

“I like your smile. Why do you always look so sad?”

“I’m not sad. I like the rain. And I like you.”

“What can I do to make you smile more?”

“Nothing… Wait… Keep being yourself. I love you.”

Both of them smiled. Their eyelids drooping shut as they wallowed in the precious moment. Starlight twinkling through the small skylight in the wood panel roof of their humble abode. After a long day hiking and looting or camping and paranormal investigation, Opalite liked watching the stars for hours on end, but her eyes were transfixed on Elk’s. The smaller female folded her glasses up, setting them in the drawer of a bedside table. She did not trust Elk’s insatiable lust with a tail that large wagging around. Glasses were sturdier than people gave them credit for, but they were still glass and wire. How could the sheep say no to the demi-goddess’s charms?

Blue petals littered the bed and carpet as the two of them fell asleep in each other’s arms. Were they good people? No. They were trying to get better and their efforts deserved rewards like this. Normally Opalite dreamed of the fire that destroyed her life, but even in her sleep Elk scared away everything. Together there was nothing they couldn’t do. Every day was precious.
