Once upon a time, I had a dream that I wished to fulfill with all I had. Once upon a time, I grieved those I lost and cherished those whom I still had. But now there is only an empty feeling, a wish to fill, pain or happiness. To simply feel what emotions I despised before.

She never was anyone else before what she is today. She didn't grow and learn to be another version of herself. What it was, it was, no changes. But even death suffers changes, the body who will transform and reborn on the earth to bring life to other beings. It was confusing, not to feel and see everyone else... feel. At some point, imitating became natural for her, like a human would adapt an accent from another land, or a nervous tick.

And then, there is time. Which is such a relative term. Some say that time is the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole, others... a simple term to measure the day.

Time was probably the most confusing thing that anyone could think about, but at the same time being that confusing, it became comfortable for her. What a mess they both were, lost in time. But time alone was lonely. Even for someone like her, it became lonely and cold to be by herself.

It was when the cold feeling, the emptiness, the time heaved on her, that she went exploring the outside of the world she knew. Because she knew the world, but the world was always evolving so she never knew it, truly. It was always an adventure, but if there was something she would always search for when time came for her to roam shortly earth... was chocolate donuts. Not even time could fulfill an empty stomach or mind.

Almost any of those delicious were fine for her, but... There is always one more special. This case, there was a little pastry, in a small city, but not small enough for everyone to know everyone. It was perfect, there weren't too many humans around, so trees were still pretty visible at any point, in between buildings or besides. It was almost as if she didn't exist in their eyes, and that was perfect since she didn't want to. They saw her, but not truly, in their minds there would only stay a vague idea of a woman they passed by, nothing else.

Phitheta asked for a box of donuts, chocolate donuts, pointing to the sweets and numbering how many she wanted with her fingers. A young woman turned with a smile on her face and gave it to her.

"That's a lovely dress! It really looks good on you." The girl said, leaving the demon in a confused state, not used to such... words. Shaking her head she left the small place and came back home with a box in her hands. While the human world was... pretty, it wasn't home. Home was where time didn't get wasted, where her food wouldn't rot away or decay. Because time was in her hands and that was always enough.

There were not many demons around where she built her home. And because it was a high place, it was trickier to get there and gave her the opportunity to watch them from above.

At the end of the cliff, she sat, taking small bites from the donut while watching other demons run around, getting summoned, playing and training with their powers. It was... a good way to waste her time, for that she had plenty.
