Lorry carried a tray of tea into Fidget's office, a job that Blonco usually did in loving gesture to his wife. When Lorry asked to do this, Blonco almost protested- but thought better of it, since this was Lorry, and she probably had something in mind.

As she set the tray on the desk, Fidget managed a "thanks", her eyes still buried in her papers, deep in concentration. Lorry took a seat beside her, and waited. Fidget didn't touch the tea for a good portion of ten minutes, when her ear flickered with a sort of sigh,"is there something you need?" she looked over, and jolted in surprise to see, not her husband, but Lorry sitting in the spot. The wolf shook her head in apology, "I'm sorry, Lorry. I thought you were Blonco." her hand runs through her thick brown hair in thought, and blinked back to attention at Lorry.

"it's quite alright, I thought you could use a chat." Fidget shook her head,

"with all due respect, I am quite busy. I haven't the time to chat." Lorry put a hand on Fidget's. Surprised, she looked at the elven girl quizzically--about to repeat herself, when Lorry spoke.

"I See You." Fidget blinked. Of course she saw her. She was right in front of her. She was about to say as such, when she noted the serious look in her eyes. Instead, she raised an eyebrow at the statement. "I See You, Fidget. The guilt, the worry, the pain. I See You. But you need to take it from me, if you continue, you will regret it." Lorry glanced at the notes, and scooped them up before Fidget could protest. "Before you know it, it'll be too late. There's pain in his eyes you don't see when you're face down in this." her eyes read over the notes as she speaks, "he doesn't know what you're doing is for him... Among other things." she looks over the top of the papers at her, "all he knows is that you seem to value these papers over your time together- which, you and I both know is false." Lorry sets the notes down, looking into her eyes. "let me help. It's the least I can do." Fidget shook her head, looking away.

"I have to do this."

"no you don't." Lorry turned Fidget to face her. "you have dealt with this long enough. Let me help you." Fidget couldn't seem to understand why Lorry was so insistent, but to Lorry, this was a favor gone unredeemed for years. She was going to need a team, but Lorry was sure she could fix him, to the way he was before.
