Sunflower
The one tom that brought him something other than a rose, but they never started a relationship together.
Tigershine hates roses. He thinks they're really cliche and hates receiving them from toms. As a younger tom, he would constantly be fawned over by other outsider toms before he found Shoreclan and he always told them to bring him the best flower they could find. Tigershine never specified what kind because he wanted to be surprised, and he never was. Except for one time.
There was a time where sunflowers weren't considered his favorite, but this experience helped him choose it. One tom who never gave him a name that approached him early in the morning and gently prodded him awake from his spot under a shady sycamore tree. Tigershine blinked in surprise at the beauty before him - a bright yellow flower with long petals and an intricate middle of little brown dots. The stem dragged on the ground behind the tom, and he seemed to have trouble lifting it. This made Tigershine laugh, but he still asked, "What is this flower?"
"A sunflower," the tom replied.
