Her glare pierces through the other's eyes, staring deep into their soul. If she could fucking rip them to shreds by now, she would— even the voices are telling her to. But she knows better now.

"Here is the first line of a monologue scene. Continue on. “I have something important to tell you."

"I have something important to tell you."

"Yeah?"

May leaps up and sits herself down on the kitchen counter, grabbing an opened box of cereal, and digging into it. "Mhmm. Soooo important." They jam the dry cereal into their mouth, grimacing at its sweetness. Honestly, what did she even expect? It's fucking cereal. The voice in her head tells her to keep eating, though, so she does.

"Well? What is it?"

Crunch, crunch, crunch. Swallow. Fuck, that's disgusting. She shovels more cereal into her mouth, "It's over." She watches as the person's expression goes slack-jawed, looking at her in shock. "What do you mean?" They ask in unison, May's more taunting than the other's. "Simple— the deal is off, dude."

"What the fuck do you mean by that— I paid you!"

"Uh-huh," they leap down the counter, "And I'm not getting whatever shit you're talking about, so it's done." May shrugs, unbothered by the stranger's ever-growing tone and anger. It would make her life so much easier to just milk this person's income dry, but for fuck's sake this is exhausting. She's been in this business for too long to know which clients to pick up, and which ones to drop.

The said client clicks their tongue in annoyance, "Maybe you're not as good as I though—"

May grabs them by the collar, hoisting them up to look them in the eye, "Listen here, fuckface, I don't think you don't know what I did— what I've been doing for you here. I've talked to sooo many spirits. Yeah! And you know what? Hm? None of them own your precious handkerchief, got it? I've had enough of this, and quite frankly, I just wanna go to fucking bed. In. Peace."

Her glare pierces through the other's eyes, staring deep into their soul. If she could fucking rip them to shreds by now, she would— even the voices are telling her to. But she knows better now. They loosen their hold on them, dropping the stranger to the ground with a heavy thud.

"Maybe next time? Pick someone who's dead, dumbass."
