The day was bright, with but a few clouds in the sky. Alex was particularly happy about such wonderful weather on his free day off from work at the karaoke bar, so he decided to take advantage of it and go on a stroll. Luckily enough, he came across his adventurous friend Gavner, who happily joined alongside him for the time being. The two hadn't met for a while, so they caught up with each-other-- stuff was relatively the same for Gavner since their last meeting, though Alex was particularly happy. His job at the karaoke bar was going quite well, and after one of his performances one night, he was even approached by a record label representative! He was applauded for his excellent performance, and was even asked by him to see about a potential interview with the label he represents to see if a deal could be made. Gavner was really happy for his friend and congratulated him, but moments later, Alex pulled out his phone. He had heard a notification go off for it, and he couldn't help but check it out of excitement. After all, he was told that he'd be contacted via e-mail whether he'd score the interview with the company after a revision of his performance that night or not. Gavner asked what was up when he saw Alex grow increasingly more excited the more he scrolled through his phone, only to be notified quite loudly, yet happily, that Alex had indeed gotten the interview. The Browbird was quite excited-- he finally had a shot at the big leagues, he could potentially make a name for himself, and this chance was what he had dreamed of since he got his job at the bar! As Alex showed Gavner the e-mail confirming the interview, the Painted Satyr couldn't help but congratulate him and cheer him on, happy that his friend was that much closer to his dreams.
