Exploration roll
The rain was gently falling on the leaves, making a sound that could be mistaken for music. A drop fall on my ear and I move it quickly, hoping it will stop raining soon. A small thing make his way through my chest fluff, showing it's tiny nose. "Oh, there you were Naos. I thought you were lost in my fur again." I chuckle as my nezumichu familiar goes back hiding in my cream fur. "I wonder if the rain is gonna stop.. Not that I hate it, but my fur takes hours to dry." As I talk to my friend, the rain start to clear and I'm able to finally leave the three I was resting under. Naos climbs on my shoulder and watch the landscape, probably wondering where we are going next. The ground is still wet and there's a lot a mud. Even if I was trying to not step in these puddles, my paws quickly become dirty and I'm having a hard time walking with so much weight on them. "I think I need a small pause Naos. At least to clean my paws.. Let's find a new place to rest. Tell me if you find anything, okay?" Naos nods and climbs on the top of my head, whiskers moving heavily, looking in the distance. I stop at a small pond to remove the excess of mud that was stick to my paws, being glad that my tail was staying on my back. Suddently, I heard Naos squeaking and jumping on my muzzle, showing me a direction with his tail. "That way? What did you saw?" Not waiting for me Noas jumps on the ground and run away behind a small hill. "I wonder what he saw.. I like exploration but he could at least wait for me!" I grumble and trot toward that hill, wondering what could be behind it. Once I reach the top of it, my eyes are amazed by the sight of plains full of red flowers. Each of them seems to have it's own tint, making me want to look at all of them. On the far right I spot Naos waiting for me near a lake. I run to him, trying my best to not fall. When I arrive next to him, he jumps back on muzzle and climbs to the top of my head. "That's such a nice place you found Naos! I never same such a large amonth of flowers." Naos seems satisfied and decides to take a nap, enjoying the sun. "I'm almost sure I already saw this place.. Where..?" I take a better look at the lake and decide to come closer to it. I look at my reflection, trying to not make Naos fall in the water. Staring at my paws full of mud, I decided it's probably the best moment to clean them. My paws touch gently the water before entering in it. It's not cold, great. As I'm still watching the lake and the flower hills, I realise where I already saw this place. "I know Naos! We're at the Luna Lake! I saw this place, as well as the Red Wind Hills, on one of my old maps back at home. I wish I would study them a bit more, maybe I would not get lost so easily around there.." My small friend chuckles as he heards me, hitting my forehead with his tail as a reprimand. Not like if he already tried multiple times to help concentrate on these maps.. Unfortunatly I always find a way to go outside rather then studying. Slowly, the sun turns the sky into a bright red color, making me realise it's time to go home.
