Deep under the surface of humanity there's a place for the demons and vile things of myth. Some would call it Hell, but it's really just a land for the lost and the wicked. All matter of creatures and monsters stewing in their molten ash pot of filth and foul stench of evil.

Spawning one abomination after another for centuries, until somewhere down the line a mistake was made. Somehow one such monster was born with a soul. Rumors of the hands of creation's failure brewed for years.

Certainly, Winona must've thought so. Some kinda wire was crossed and the soul-less beast she was meant to be banishes to mortality while she suffered in lands thriving off misery.

Luckily for her she got her wish one day as her disgusted roommates of hell soon came up with a plan.  A sinister little curse that Winona would fall right into with open arms.

A simple correction of fate and it's wrongful placement of her. The monsters grew interested in one certain truly tainted bitch on earth. Cold to the core and with a thirst for blood that could only be matched by the drooling mouths of that shit hole of a realm

With all their horrible dark magic and strength they circled Winona as she lay in the middle of it all. She knew it must be some kind of trickery, but she didn't care. Winona would rather not exist than be where she doesn't belong.

With howling screams they tore apart the thin barrier of them and mortals and their slimy fingers plucked out Winona's soul and forced it to possess the heartless one on earth, all while she took a one way trip into right into the shell of what suited her best.

At first, this seemed like a blessing for Winona as a few weeks passed and warm kindness began to mend the wounds that former host of her body had done.

It was all short lived however because their spell had some side effects. The distortion caused by that switch began to change her human form in certain ways.

Red horns, devilish tail, and razor sharp teeth all began to show itself. Her inner origins that she couldn't escape growing out of her. People stared and their hate only seemed to make her change occur faster as she quickly began to give up.

But the rights she started to wrong took root and sprouted a way out for Winona. The mother of the vessel she resided in burst down her door one day and hugged her ever so tight as she bursts into tears.

It was obvious that she knew it really wasn't her daughter still residing inside, but it was clear she didn't care. As if Winona was the daughter she was supposed to have all along.

It was then that Winona apologized for everything that she had ever done on behalf of whatever that monster was that resided inside not long before. Which, in an instant stopped her growing spiky feet from growing any larger.

Accepting the horned girl with huge clawed feet wouldn't be easy for her town to accept, but with a heart of gold like hers it was only a matter of time.

Her daily acts of kindness and generosity didn't cure what already started, but it was what kept it at bay. It was pretty ironic for Winona to realize that her curse was to be forever sweet and nice, but definitely one she could live with.
