Me again.

I finally found a motel with decent staff. They’re alright— don’t ask too many questions, and they don’t smell. They don’t give me any weird looks either, so I think that already trumps the rest that I’ve been to.

As for the motel itself, it’s... as good as it can be. What can I expect, when I’m in the middle of nowhere, you know? There’s probably four other people here aside from me, I didn’t keep count. It’s just.. quiet. Empty. Again, what can I expect.

The cheeseburger I’m eating is starting to fill me up, honestly. I’m a little sad about it— I used to be able to eat, what, three of these? And now I can’t even finish this one. Ha. I guess Shannon would’ve found this funny. I just think it’s sad.

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss them a little bit. I’ve probably listened to all my playlists around.. seven? times now. I never thought I’d ever miss the company. But.. there’s no point in mulling over that— I have things to do. People to.. meet, if that’s the right word.

It's stupid of me to say this, of all people, but I kind of miss.. touching. Hugging, and stuff like that. Of course, I.. I'd never let anyone read this. Besides, it's nothing. Just a passing thought, you know? Who knew this.. mission would be so lonely that it would make Teo wanna be hugged. It's stupid. I should just get.. like.. a weighted blanket or something. Or a teddy bear. Maybe that'll do the trick.

I think I’ll move north from here. Try and get away from all the sand. I used to live near the fields, I think. I don’t know— it’s a little hazy. Maybe it’ll rattle something in my head, no matter how fucking cheesy that sounds.

Whatever. I’ll just go wherever I feel like it. It’s only failed me once before anyway.
