If you love me let me goooooooooooooo...................

A  human Kaji, engulfed in flaming chains, struggled against them roughly,  pulling away ever so slowly. His teeth grit against themselves,  emitting those dangerous sparks while dark smoke started to ooze slowly  through the gaps. His flame-orange eyes burned with an aggressive  indignation, the bright glow of light reflecting on the vitreous flesh.  When the chains snapped loudly and loosened their hold on him, he didn't  hesitate to kick off into a sprint, the flames licking against his arms  and sides as he finally escaped into the white void ahead, leaving the  darkness behind him. However, once that light engulfed him and left the  darkness to memories, Kaji skid to a stop, his eyelids widening further  as he stared in a trance to the light in front of him. A warmth flooded  his heart, and for a moment, he felt free at last from the binds of  humanity and from his job. At last, he didn't hear the voices talking to  him over and over again.

At last, he felt at peac-

The  sound of a trap door opening, and Kaji let out a gasp as he dropped once  more into the abyss of darkness, releasing a loud yell that would be  his last cry for help.

Lightning flashed. Thunder roared.  The dirt underneath Kaji was black, writhing with the stench of death  and decay, and decrepit twigs sticking out of the earth. Bones of  various humans were scattered around the area, the skulls having their  jaws gaped open and some pieces of red flesh still sticking to them. The  dirt wriggled with movement from creatures burrowing deeper, and  suddenly, Kaji's eyes flashed open.

A swift flick to his right  and left, and quickly, his head lifted above the ground. His head turned  this way and that, trying to make out the scene he was currently in.  Darkness was never ending and crawled along the "walls" of the pit, and  swiftly after that, the voices started to return to Kaji's head. A loud  groan of pain was released and he shot his arms up to grasp onto his  head, his breath hitching in his throat.

"You still don't  know...." The voices started to speak rapidly, muddling over one another  but occasionally focusing on select words that caused Kaji's eyes to  whirl in their sockets. "It's not over................. You thought you  would be free?............ How foolish............."

"LET ME  GO!!!!" Kaji roared out, digging his nails into his head and starting to  bleed from the amount of pressure he was exerting. However, when he  released his grip and started to pant out of nervous energy, his eyes  widened and he let out a scared gasp, pushing his arms out in front of  him. All along his arms were tan, reptilian scales, each one of them  starting to move on their own as they crawled further and further along  him.

Kaji let out a yell as he threw his arms behind him and  quickly stood up, frantically looking around for a way of escape. The  thunder roared in his right ear, causing Kaji's head to snap in that  direction.

"Stop fighting it."

A loud scream was released  by the Chimera, and he threw his hands up again to his face, his nails  starting to elongate into dark claws and sliding slowly against a  strange material that was etching itself into his eyelids and cheeks. As  each tip of his claws met the edge of the scales that were starting to  form, they made tiny tapping noises, and his eyes started to roll back  into their sockets. No... He wasn't going to go down like this. However,  even if he added more pressure to his face as he dragged his nails  down, the only thing that leaked out were the sparks that ignited from  the contact. No... Fuck, don't come back!!!

Another flick of his  eyes and he started to look around once more, lowering his hands rapidly  and then running over to one of the "walls," only seeing that it would  merely move away from him and expand the darkness of the pit further.  With a gasp, Kaji whirled around at 180 degrees, tripping over himself  and landing onto his back. A harsh grunt escaped through his teeth,  emitting those sparks and smoke again like before he entered this hell  hole. However, as he was about to give up and just lay on the ground,

"You're not done yet."

At  that, Kaji flew up into the darkness, screaming as he went, and soon  disappearing. Lightning flashed throughout the pit and thunder crackled,  soon the lightning and thunder crashing down just as Kaji landed in the  middle of the pit again, his body hunched over and his legs deformed to  look like a bird's. His spine elongated and was also starting to stick  out of his body now, cracking into place and occasionally folding over  itself to allow for his growing, scaly flesh to form over the bone. His  face was also starting to reform, his jaws re-positioning themselves  through snaps and cracks. Loud roars were released from the Chimera as  he endured through the pain, and as the transformation continued, Kaji  leaned back and faced the sky.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"  He boomed, flaming eyes twirling in their sockets and the glow of fire  burning at the base of his throat.

With a loud bang from the  thunder and a flash of electricity, Kaji released his flames into the  air, illuminating the never-ending darkness for just a bit as it rained  down and stuck tightly to the decaying earth. The writhing of creatures  under the dirt ceased, and soon, the flesh on the skeletons started to  catch fire and cook slowly, peeling slowly off the bone. A circle of  fire surrounded the Chimera as he slowly stood up, his form now no  longer human. The flames licked and highlighted the burn scars along the  side of the creature's flame-colored and tiger-striped body, a long,  slim tail slowly swaying behind him. 3-toed claws dug into the soil  beneath him, and 3-fingered black claws clenched together. The heaving  body of the monstrous beast made it look like his spine was still  stretching farther, but when he snapped his head to look over at the  abyss, his lips curled back and he released a nasty snarl. Black smoke  seeped past his sparking jaws, and his eyes were once again lit with  that malicious fire.

Off in the distance, the sound of a door  groaning open was heard through the dying lightning and thunder. A red  light slowly engulfed the Chimera as he stared with narrowed pupils, and  very softly, a feminine voice started to beckon,

"Come Chimera............ You still have a job to complete...."

With  slow, booming steps, Kaji slowly started to approach the light, his  body swaying and tail following soon after. With each thud closer to the  light, the voices were becoming normal again, and that peace was long  gone. Now all that was left was that returning hatred for his own kind.

They all needed to die.
