Author's Notes
NOTE: This was originally written for my “Intro. To Creative Writing” class back in January 2019. We were directed to write a five-stanza poem following the guidelines indicated on pg. 27 in our textbook, so I decided to write about a roller coaster.
Excitement clings to the train,
Restricted by seatbelts and metal bars.
Rising up from the g-forces,
Rocked from side to side,
And dissipating with the ride’s end.
