Holes were torn through the wall of the facility, sparks flying and the lights keeping it somewhat lit up flickered. The lights flickering as if they were putting on a show. They were red, a sire of sorts rippling through the air. Someone stepped into the hallway, “What a clusterfuck. If he hadn’t left it there for who knows how fucking long we could’ve contained it better!” It taped on a holographic projected screen, swiped it away and then pulled out a blaster.

Another entered the room, gun in hand, slipping around the room. Avoiding sparks and seeing where it had run, “This was like the other experiment, N56. Fucker used its ability to destroy an entire lab.”

“Now is not the time to ramble. We have a run-away to catch! Do a wall check!” Both made their way through the broken hallway.

“Yes sir.” The 2nd one that had entered turned to goo and disappeared within the facility floor.

Whatever had destroyed the walls was well hidden somewhere or far ahead. A third Amibian entered the room, a holographic visor over one eye. It seemed to be scanning the room, looking for something. She was small, a small magic wand looking item in her hands. Her hair was down but neat. She looked to be the size of a small child. “Uuuugh, you globs are slow! He’s nowhere.” Her voice was high and squeaky.

Both amibians saluted their manager. The first piped up, “Nothing of the experiment so far.”

“Well clearly Back to your mission plebs!” She kicked him, the amibian had no reaction, and the two went off scouring the hall. The smaller Amibian sprouted wings, and lifted herself off the ground, flying after the two. Her visor constantly scanning the surroundings for something. The trio making its way through the building, along with several other groups. The whole facility on lockdown.

A voice was heard on her visor, “The docks. If anything he’d wanna ship to get away! Report!”

The small fairy amibian nodded, “Alright you two glops, don’t let your sense’s fail you. To the docks. That’s a fucking order.” The two turned around and saluted.

The run-away slipped through the destroyed walls, now and again summoning it’s ability to throw a punch at Amibians that came in it’s way. Taking the form of one of the amibians it had decked with a black, goopy arm. Now running in disguise of another. He wanted a way out, there had to be one in this damned place. He’d summon a large black goopy hand and destroy a wall, leaving dents, sparks flying. Still no way out.

He frantically looked around and would continue his move. He shifted back. Brown hair, red pink stripes on his face. Red and pink hands. An amibian lab uniform and cape, white boots. He studied the symbols, he wasn’t dumb. Going from hallway to hallway, less destroying and more running, until he came to a large closed two door gate. The two would slide back and force for those who had entered the passcode. He looked up at it, flinging his two summable black goopy hands at it. Not a dent was made. He bawled his actual fists in frustration. He had to find the passcode.

He racked his memory, trying codes. After what seemed like a thousand tries they finally opened. The doors creaked, light seen around the ends of the doors as they went into the wall. He dashed though, the doors sliding back into place. “The landing docks!” He dashed for a ship, making a run for one.

The cold air hitting him, the dark sky overhead. The whole place was silent, aside from the wailing of sirens. There wasn’t any movement or activity. A yellow rope was swung around him and in surprise he was pulled back, an electrical shock sent through his body. A cry of pain was let out as it burned his skin too. Causing the area to melt and dig deeper inside.

“N85 I hear by declare you sent for a full reset! You filthy defective. You dare use your gift to harm us!” The magic wand she held, was able to summon a burning electric lasso by simplifying flicking and waving it around. She was afloat in the air, her wings flapping.

“I was never one of you!” Teeth gritted in pain.

“Hah! That’s right! You weren’t. We simply kidnapped you back then and turned you into one of us.” It was the small fairy Amibian and two of the soldiers she managed.

He wiggled, the rope only causing more pain, melting more of his skin in that area. She flicked the wand and the lasso around him swished back and brought him over. She flew in front of his face. She bopped his nose, “Poor Awibian thinks he can wun, awwwwww. Following in N56’s footsteps. That’s adoooooraaaaable.” She then kicked her legs in the air and laughed maniacally.

While she laughed like a madman her two soldiers were on high guard. Their eyes scanned the room for other potential threats. They failed to realize one of them. The ship that wasn’t far from them suddenly exploded in flames. The flames cackling as noises of the ship breaking echoed, embers flew and a rush of heat caused them all to stumble back. All of them expressed the pain of the heat.

The rope was no longer around him, free region, he summoned a large hand and smacked the fairy amibian. Grabbing and throwing her against the wall. The other two shot at him but summoned a shield of matter to deflect. He pushed it in their direction, flying at them, and trapping them against a wall before they could get out of the wall. “N56 you say, never heard the name but it looks like two of your gifted soldiers were defect’s. Apparently showing real emotion and having a taste of freedom is a flaw. I’d like to keep it that way.”

And without further adieu and jumped into a puddle of black, hidden in the floor and made his way towards a ship. One not touched by the flames. In the corner of his eye he noticed one he hadn’t noticed before slip in the other direction. Rebel or not it was not his problem.

Sneaking onboard the ship, he turned it on and set the coordinates to the planet his squad was on, he had to find them. Possibly find this N56 rebel they had mentioned. Seemed to him they had the same ability. He had his priorities. Squad first, N56 next.
