Cassarah did not know how to pilot a spaceship.
She was piloting a spaceship.
This was a bad idea.
Caleigh was the pilot, and she had gone to go get juice, leaving Cass at the… she didn’t know what but there were a lot of buttons, control area? Space steering place? Pilot button thingy? As mentioned before she was not a person who had any knowledge of flying a spaceship. She did not even know the letters of whatever language was written on the buttons, so she could not read the user manual. It didn’t seem to need anything right now, Cal had put it on autopilot but it still made Cass nervous. She didn’t know what to do if something went wrong and each second ticked by feeling like an eternity. Cal was on her way back with the juice when suddenly a bunch of lights turned red. An alarm noise screamed very loudly at her as lights flashed red, was this designed to blind the pilot in times of crisis so that they didn’t see how they were going to die?
“CAL!!!!!! GET OVER HERE!” She yelled as her friend dropped the juices and started running over but then the ship automatically went into lockdown as thick walls of metal came between them.  Cass saw a large asteroid headed right towards the ship.
“CAN YOU HEAR ME?” Cass yelled at the door.
“I CAN’T HEAR YOU!” Cal said as loud as she could.
“I THINK THE SHIP IS IN LOCKDOWN!”
“IS THE SHIP IN LOCKDOWN?”
“THERE’S A BIG ASTEROID GOING TO KILL US!!”
“IS THERE AN ASTEROID??”
"WHAT DO I DO?!?!?"
"WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IS-"
"HOW DO I TURN THE LOCKDOWN OFF"
"-TO TURN THE LOCKDOWN OFF"
"I THINK I NEED A PASSWORD"
"YOU'RE GONNA NEED THE PASSWORD"
"WHAT'S THE PASSWORD"

"I CAN'T READ THE LETTERS!"
"CAN YOU READ THE LETTERS?"
"I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO"
"JUST DON'T PRESS THE ORANGE BUTTON"
"I'M GONNA PRESS THIS ORANGE BUTTON!!"
"NO!!"
"WHAT?!?!"
Cass pressed the orange button but immediately regretted it when the computer said "Self destruct initiated 5 minutes remaining"
"Oops!" She peeped and decided to start banging at the door separating them. She heard a loud crash and then
"STEP BACK FROM THE DOOR!" was yelled by Cal, sounding closer than before, it was still hard to hear through a foot of solid metal but she understood it just in time to back away when the door was suddenly blasted to bits as Cal ran over to the buttons and started pressing them, fingers moving at lightning speed the warnings ceased and the ship started steering away from the scary rock.
"OF ALL THE THINGS TO NOT HAVE A PASSWORD!" Cass screeched, spitting in her friend's face.
"What if... you go get the juice." Was all that she replied. Pointing down the hall and Cass smiled, heading towards the kitchen.
"I've really got to learn to fly this thing." She told herself as she removed a Spock juice and Kikprisun from the fridge.
