Tasso growled before turning around in a circle a couple of times, frustrated by the conversation with the Goddess. The world was finally getting to him and the fascination was waring off. He left his home, his family back in the real world just to come to this mystery place, the least they could do was answer their questions. Xia approached him and rubbed against his side to provide friendly comfort. It seemed to work in calming down the young male and he sighed. “I miss being home Xia, I hope this ends soon” He said quietly. Xia frowned slightly before agreeing with him. She was missing the pride as well but knew the quicker they were done here the faster they could go back. “we’ll get back soon, just got to stay alive.” She said quietly.

It was then that the ‘general’ approached them. He walked with a slight limp, presumably gained due to old age, his thin fur was turning grey, but he still held a strong aura around him that demanded respect. Xia looked at him and bowed down slightly. He stood in front of them and started speaking. “Hello warriors, I am the general of this place. I am here with a task for you all if you wouldn’t mind following me.” Tasso immediately starts with a question. “What do we need to do?” He says, still not fully trusting the male. The General sighed. It was clear he would rather show the group than try to explain it on the spot. Xia decided to intervene. “Sorry sir, we are still a bit wary of strangers, I’m sure you understand. We would be happy to follow you. The general smiled at her before starting to leave, waiting for them to catch up every few seconds.

The three lions followed the general to the garden. It was overgrown with weeds and dead plants, beside it was a dozen potted plants ready to be planted. The male sat down by the soil. “I would like to teach you a lesson about life. This is precious and should be valued, I would like you to take a try at growing these.” Tasso looked confused, what was the point in this? Pecora on the other hand was over the moon. She loved her plants and was already investigating the seedlings and what kind of plants they were. Xia got to work on the weeds, using her claws to dig up the stubborn plants. It was a slow task due to her injury, but she was thankful she was providing useful in this way. Tasso occasionally chipped in.

Once the bed was stripped of weeds Pecora took over. She started digging holes in the ground big enough for the plant saplings. She then carefully buried them, making extreme care to not damage the leaves. Once she was done, she let out a happy laugh and a chuckle. “I wish I could bring these little guys home!” She said with a happy voice as she admired them one last time. All three lions stepped back to admire their hard work.
