There's a few different tasks at hand, weeding, planting vegitables, and harvesting!

“Guraaaaa-“ The preteen blinked, and turned to see her kitsune struggling with a water pail. The fox was actually trying to drag it across the ground with her mouth, but the result was just getting water everywhere. The academy student shuffled over and helped her partner balance it, then the two trudged over to the spot where Kagura had just planted something. Working in the fields was a strangely relaxing thing, Kagura decided. Despite the fact it was hard work, it was a distraction from her worries, and a good way to just mindless go at something.

“Okay, ready ‘Mamo?” She asked the fox, who should her head excitedly. Pushing together, they carefully poured right over the mound of earth, and then pulled back when it seemed like enough. Grinning at their work, Kagura was suddenly distracted by something out of the corner of her eye.

“Look, ‘Gura! I’m a rice fox!” Kohaku called, holding up the plants to his ears. The young woman watched in awe at the apparent genius of her cousin’s display, and bounced in place. “WHOA, KOHAKU YOU’RE SO COOL! I wanna too!” She shouted, moving quickly to swipe some rice plants from the ground. Tamamo, having also forgotten about their actual task at hand, pulled some plants from the ground as well with her teeth, and dropped them in her partner’s hand.

“Thanks, ‘Mamo! LOOK, I’M A RICE FOX TOO!” Kagura called to Kohaku, mimicking his actions from earlier. The young man snickered at her actions, and began joining in again, both of them dancing around and yelling. Tamamo bounced around alongside them, yipping and then carrying some of her own rice in her mouth. A few feet off, Haruki watched the trio and sighed. He ended up looking back to the last member of their group whom was actually trying to get work done, one Kioshi Takagama. The boy, flipping his bangs out of his hair, sighed heavily, trying to focus on the task at hand.

“We really must be getting to the task at hand…” He murmured, feeling the urge to take the coin from his pocket and flip it. Anything to keep on task at this point, he thought. Though it seemed his words summoned the two troublemakers to him, and the Kitsune relatives jogged on over to Kioshi with matches grins. Sneaking up to either side of the boy, they looked at each other, and nodded their heads.

“LOOK KIOSHI, WE’RE RICE FOXES!” They cried, dancing right next to him. The brown-haired boy looked at them both with confusion and maybe even a level of disbelief, and tried to get back to harvesting. Not deterred, the Kitsune kept up their act, though finally seemed to be picking rice as they walked too, and depositing it where it needed to go. Kioshi watched the two as they pranced around, a small smile appearing on his face. Though he went back to harvesting, and the two relatives continued to frolic around the fields.
