Buck - Information

Buck and Enzo’s grandmother were happily together for many years before they had their grandson. Enzo’s mother was their only child and the light of their life, and they were both devastated when both her and Enzo’s father died. 

After the accident, they took in Enzo to raise. It was only shortly after that that Buck’s partner began to lose herself to grief. She figured that it would be better for everyone involved if she reverted to her plant form and stayed there until she was ready to come back to a life without her daughter. This was hard on both grandfather and grandson, but Buck is ultimately grateful that Enzo is still a very happy boy. 

Buck enjoys having Enzo working around the farm, it’s harder to do ranch chores the older you get, so Enzo is definitely a big help. He allows Enzo to go and help close family friends with ranch chores as well, though he is generally sort of an overprotective grandfather (can you really blame him tho?). 

Buck definitely worries whenever Enzo takes a trip to a different hub, and he wants to meet this “Beckett” one day, but ultimately he knows that it’s not fair to ask the kid to never go anywhere.
