Trine stood, head down in the End. Her sword in one hand, ax in the other. Her breathing was quick and her thoughts raced. I can't lose this fight she told herself.

"Has HeroTrine finally lost her mojo?" Ender mocks. Entity stood behind her.

“How and why would I ever do that?” Trine asks, looking straight into Ender’s red eyes.

Ender pauses to think, “Hum… Because you’re going to lose!”

Entity teleported down and punches Trine.

Her ax raised, Trine threw Entity off of her. “This is between me and Ender!” she yells at him. Entity just teleported back behind Ender.

Ender flaps her wings and lands inches from Trine, “You are nothing compared to the ender dragon,” she growls.

Cynder runs out from behind Trine, she growls.

“What is that?!” Ender screams, pointing to the waist height dragon.

“Oh, you mean little Cynder here? Just a dragon I picked up!” Trine smiles.

Ignoring the dragon, Ender runs at Trine. Their swords clash and the sound echoes through the End. Ender pushes with all her might to bring Trine to her knees.

“What are you doing?” Trine’s voice shakes as she tries to keep her balance.

Ender growls, “Kill you! What else?”

Trine searches for that spark, the evil that she had concurred inside. Her right eye glows red and she pushes away Ender’s blade. “Listen to me!” Trine yells.

Ender throws her sword to the side and the hard fire turns to smoke. She spreads her ender dragon wings and flies up.

Trine’s red eye begins to glow with effort as she tries and fails to follow her sister into the air. She pulls out her bow and notches it. Her arrow scans the sky for Ender. Suddenly, Cynder is on Ender shoulder again, ready to help.

Roar!

As the ender dragon flies right down to them.

Entity watches in an evil vain, a dead Brigg? What could be better?

Trine lets her evil form a shield around her and she waits for the impact.

Crash!

The whole End falls silent as end stone dust fills the air.

Trine coughs as she wakes up to see the End surrounding her. She was instantly alert and looks for Cynder and Ender.

“Rark?” Cynder calls out for Trine.

They run to each other. “Cynder! You’re ok!” Trine celebrates.

“Rark,”

“You’re right, where is Ender?”

“Rark!”

“And Entity I suppose.” Trine stands and looks out across the End. She spots the shadow of a person near an obsidian pillar. She runs over and sees “Entity?”

He looks her right in the eye. “You’d better bet that it was me,” Entity growls.

“But then… where’s Ender?”

Entity rises to his feet. “Nowhere you care I suppose.”

“I don’t want to fight you.”

Entity sets his hand on fire. “The thing is, I want the opposite!”

Trine is pushed back in a blast of fire. Out of the corner of her eye, she sees Ender atop the pillar that was behind Entity. Trine makes a portal behind her and jumps through.

Cynder runs over and keeps Entity at bay.

Trine looks down at her sister, who was still knocked out, on two legs, on the pillar. “No, please no.” Tears form in her eyes.

Ender stirs.

Hope forms within Trine. “Ender?”

Ender smacks at Trine’s outstretched hand. “Leave me be.”

Trine pulls back for a second before responding, “No, were sisters. I can’t just leave you here.”

“And I’m telling you to leave.” Ender’s whole body shakes as she talks. She tries to move her left leg and she almost yelps in pain. One thing she had learned from growing up with Entity: Never show weakness to the enemy.

“But you need help” Trine protests.

Ender looks straight into her sister’s eyes. “I never said I wanted any.”

Just like that, Entity teleports up and hits Trine off the pillar. Trine pulls out an ender pearl and throws it to the ground, she lands safely. Cynder runs to her side “Rark?”

“She’s still under the spell of the evil,” Trine thinks aloud. “One thing after the other. We need to kill the original dragon first.” Trine pulls out something that she had been saving, her Big Bertha sword. “Come and fight me Entity303!!”

Entity floats down, “I thought this was not my fight.”

Trine runs at the 303, sword at her side. “And I’m SICK of you doing this to Ender!” Trine hits at Entity with the sword.

The 303 jumps to dodge the attacks, but is still hit a few times. “I did not make Ender revive me!”

Big Bertha fell back to Trine’s side. And Entity walks closer. “We don’t need to fight, I only want to explain.”

Cynder landed on Trine’s shoulder and Trine lets Entity speak:

“When you killed me. I knew that I was never to return to the overworld. And that I have not. My home is now here, in the End. And I am the ender dragon here. I don’t even want to know why Notch thought that this End would be dangerous without me. Did he think I would not have a long while to think before I was able to breathe real air again? Well, let me tell you here HeroTrine, I thought long and hard for the almost year that I have been dead. And I want to also say this: I don’t want to kill you anymore. I know you want to kill me. And I know that it may take half of forever for you to trust me but I repeat. I don’t want to kill you anymore.”

“How do I know that you won’t turn you back on me the moment I trust you!” Trine spat.

“I am here. As the ender dragon. And I no longer want more than to play around with user’s minds. No, I won’t kill you unless you wish for me to.” Entity promised.

Trine considers his words. “You are right, I won’t ever fully trust you. But I do trust you that you will stay here in the End and help my sister?”

Entity bows his head slightly “Cross my heart.”

Trine looks up to the pillar that Ender was still on. She knew that Cynder was the ender dragon that Ender was no longer fully. One could fly, the other could not. “Cynder? Come with me” Trine demands.

The little dragon holds tight to Trine’s shoulder and Trine throws an ender pearl to the top of the pillar yet again.

“You again” Ender complains, “Seems like you never give up do you?”

“No Ender, I don’t give up. This evil has taken me and now it wants you. It can’t have my sister! Cynder! Now!”

Cynder opens her mouth and throws dragons breath all over Ender, she began to flash red.

“The evil does not want a dead holder.”

Ender falls to her knees and struggles to stay there “Why are you doing this?” she growls before her world fell black.

Trine hurries to work. She takes Cynder and places her beside Ender. Tears spring to her eyes.

Cynder first takes the harmful dragons breath off of Ender, and then cuddles herself under Ender’s arm.

Trine looks away as the two form back into the one that they were supposed to be.

Ender groans and gets to her feet. “Trine? What happened?” She asks.

“Don’t worry, the evil is gone.”

“Evil? When was it ever here?”

“Just a minute ago…”

Ender looks behind Trine, “WHAT IS HE DOING HERE?”

Trine realizes what happened. “You had slight memory loss. The evil had taken over you and you respawned Entity.” And another of yourself.

Ender shakes her head. But feels something strange in her wings. The feeling was calming, and she closes her eyes.

Trine watches in amazement as… animation time!
