Stubs walked on a developed path near one of the city's parks. It is a cool day and on the weekend, so the path had families walking on it as well. Despite being fully aware that he's a spirit now, he found himself stepping out of their way, even saying "excuse me" and "sorry" as if he's physically there! Soon, he decided to cut the walk short and go where he wants to be at; that being the playground. Particularly the slide.

There's a line of small kids at the slide, but instead of going through them, he got in line. It wasn't a long line, but the child behind him must've sensed his presense as she never walked through him. When it came his turn, he leaped up to the top of the slide and laid flat with his legs sticking outwards. With a small push from his feet, Stubs slid down it. Then time appeared to have slowed down.

To most living creatures, this would cause shock and alarm, but this is normal for the Esk. The world cumbling around him and falling down into nowhere is normal, too. Then a forest began to emerge from the ground. When Stubs slid down to the earth, time returned to normal. His mulberry crown poofed into existence as well.

He got up and looked behind him, seeing that the once plastic slide became a rather smooth, shiny rock that kept the shape of a slide. The pink and blue color changing sky shined down between the branches and leaves of the tall trees. He noticed the stream of water going up and beyond a hill. He didn't know which part of the ever growing conservatory he's in, but he did know where the stream lent to, so he followed the gravity defying stream.

It was a shame that the walk had been a short one to the Wellspring, but he'll walk further when he's done here. He likes this Wellspring, it's a creek surrounded by small, rounded rocks with moss and small plants. Glancing up at the glass sky, he saw the cracks that formed to make shapes of flowers. The ceiling repaired itself shortly after, and new cracks appeared to resemble different types of fauna. He had also noticed that the color changing slowed down here.

Stubs stared down at the rocks and concentrated. He still isn't good at, or even used to, using his powers to create objects, but he came here with the intention to leave a gift for a different Esk that may arrive at this same Wellspring.

Then... a small toy manifested between two of the rocks, a yoyo to be exact. He watched a child play with it once, moving the string up and down with wide eyes filled with excitement. Even he was mesmorised by its movement. He left shortly after, but the image of the child, happy to play with her toy, never left his mind. He would've made the yoyo for himself, but he wanted to have another of his kind to have it more. Perhaps they'll see the wonders in it.

He placed it between two rocks, not minding that it wouldn't be easily noticed by others. He felt, no, he knew, the toy will be seen by one who wants it. Before Stubs left the Wellspring, he manifested a second item to go along with the toy, a note. He placed it under the yoyo and left to see more of the conservatory.

"I hope you'll appreciate this child's toy as much as I had. If we ever cross ways, please tell me if you liked it! - Stubs." The note read.
